Called today about getting tint removed from a rear window and replaced. The guy who picked up was friendly enough, told me it’d be $ 45 to remove the old tint and $ 40 to replace it — I understand back windows are the most difficult, hence the cost, and agreed, being told I could drop the car off until 7 tonight for pickup the next day.
When I showed up at 4:45, the door was locked and I barely caught someone on the phone as he was leaving the shop. No problem, I wasn’t expecting the car back right away — he came around front, acted confused when I showed him the exact make and model car I’d described on the phone, with the existing bad tint he’d had to remove (he also told me he was the only employee working that day, so unless some part of his story is screwy it would be impossible to not expect what was coming). After a bit of hemming and hawing, it became clear he didn’t want to do the job, and I was rapidly losing faith in his ability to do it anyway.
Bottom line: after this employee refused the job, I ended up wasting my time and my wife’s time driving two cars out to Lemon Grove. I had two other windows on this car to tint, another car that needed all of the back windows tinted fresh, and both cars needed auxiliary jack integration (another service DAS says they offer). This was a test run to see what the company was all about — needless to say I’ll be taking about $ 500 worth of work elsewhere due to a simple $ 85 fail.

Let me start by saying, the young man who tinted the Windows was very nice. Guy at the front desk was kind of strange. I went with the $ 100 tint job. I was already skeptical because the price was so cheap. Let me say, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. There’s not a single window without multiple bubbles. I wouldn’t take it back even if the «WARRANTY» covers it because they did such a terrible job. Now I have to peel it off which is a HUGE hassle. Waste of $ 100.

Do yourself a favor and pay more money for a better quality tint and service. The guy that did my tint when my car was brand new (2 yrs ago) was very nice but when I got the car back it was filthy inside with water drip spots all over the interior. Besides my car looking like crap inside my tint failed just over a year of it being tinted. My tint that was limo turned an ugly faded brown color.
I went back somewhere around a year and a couple months after the tint being done since it was brown, especially on the back rear window the worst) and apparently there is no record of me in a computer system, you have to have the original receipt with you… So if you do go here, KEEP THAT SHIT HANDY TO GET IT WARRANTED. The guy was nice, he remembered me so he gave me a deal on the back window tint being removed and replaced. Apparently they use a new type of tint now then they did 2 years ago. I don’t know, I’ve only had the new tint on my car (rear large back window only) about a year and the other 6 windows in the car are so faded and brown from him doing the tint 2 years ago (and me not being able to afford to have it all ripped off and replaced) that I don’t even know if the «new tint» has failed or not. Either way he gave me $ 10 off the «mid grade» tint and removed and replaced the back window. Of course, when the car came back to me again the inside back panels of the car near my back rear window was disgusting, sticky, had some sort of residue on it back there, I’m assuming from the solution to remove the initial tint. It was a bitch to get off and clean. As I mentioned my car was bought new less than a year and a half prior to getting the tint re-​done so that really limits that fact that it was anything that was on the car prior to me dropping it off. The back window also had a bubble in the corner. His solution to me was for him to pull off the tint and me to drive the car home missing the back window tint… HAHAHAHAHAH How ghetto right? Needless to say, that isn’t me so I put a tissue (better than no tint, Keep in mind!) in the back corner and blew out of there with the quickness. My son’s birthday party was the next day and I really didn’t have the time to get it re-​done.
The only reason I gave 1 star is because the guy I dealt with was very nice. The quality seemed good but the product they used was lame and the warranty situation was a rotten one as well and my back window has a bubble (even currently)
As of today I’m getting quotes from people with a ton of 5 star reviews so this never happens again on ALL of my windows to get re-​tinted which I know isn’t going to be cheap! SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND GET IT DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!!

My son crashed his car so we came back to have his stereo put in his new car. Once again, I got fantastic service. The receptionist, Samantha, was not only beautiful, but friendly and helpful. And the installer was awesome. He remembered me from the last time and was very helpful. He said it would take two hours and he actually finished sooner. These guys are professionals. They do a great job for a fair price and if I need their services again I will have no problem going back.

After searching the local area for the same services, i decided to choose wisely. Not only comfortable prices but excellent customer service. I had previously called about two weeks prior to my visit and when i arrived the price had not changed and they appeared happier to see me than i was to see them. Experienced sales staff that explained in detail each aspect of numerous products. I will be utilizing the same staff in the near future. I would highly recommend to any of my friends and/​or family. If you do not believe me, call and see for yourself! I gurantee you will not be dissapointed. I have utilized many others in the past as i have been accustomed to customization of numerous vehicles but the services i received this time was above and beyond. A company is as only as good as their staff allows and the staff allows for guranteed satisfaction.

Walked in late afternoon yesterday to tint my Chevy volt. I had to tint 10 Windows but only paid 160 .Most place quoted me around 200. It took around 2 hours for my car to be tinted. Workmanship was really good. I liked the final product. Customer service was great. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants there car tinted at great prices.

I walked in stood there for 30 min no one even at the front to attend no bell to ring. They had cameras n nothing. No number listed to call them out to the front well that sucks.

Overall 5 stars for sure. This is my 4^th car tinting and changing out stereo, and for sure this is the best overall experience AND PRICE that ive had. Not inly did Tony save me a bunch of money but was upfront and honest that i didnt need to switch out my front stock because it didnt need it, so there’s and extra 60 bucks he again saved me. Cheers guys! Recommend 1000%.

Got my windows done here today. Great service and really good price compare to the other people I called around San Diego. They gave me the lifetime warranty and did same day service which was great.

The guys here were great and very accomodating.
I had my windows done previously and they came out horrible. I spoke to the owner (I’m assuming) and he looked at the windows with me and explained what they would be able to do. They were very friendly, easy to talk to, and you could tell they knew their stuff.
I ended up bringing my car back first thing in the morning so that they could fix it. My only complaint is that i dropped the car off at 10:30 in the morning and they were not finished with it until after 4pm. I had to reschedule an appointment to have a chip fixed on my windshield, but the place was great and allowed me to have the service done on site at their shop. Despite the fact it was there for so long, they completely redid the tint on all my windows and everything looks amazing!
I have not been able to find a single crease or bubble since it was redone. Have to say i am extremely pleased with their work. I was shown their work before i took my car this time and was given a warranty card with the name of the gentlemen who did the installation, the date of the install and all the tint codes.

Horrible customer service. Owner Tony is a thug. He has inexperienced people working in the back. The stereo equipment is cheap and charges too much for it.

This place is great. We came in he explained all the options and the process. It took an hour and some change. i got my tint done about 3 months ago and it looks great. Will come back.

This place is awesome! I took my car here a couple weeks ago because my alarm died out and I needed a new system. I found this place through craigslist and decided to give it a shot after reading some of the Unilocal reviews. The price was right, and they were done in an hour and a half! My alarm works flawlessly now, and I have DAS to thank. Samantha had wonderful customer service as well! If anything else goes wrong with my car or I decide to bite the bullet and get my windows tinted, I’ll definitely be coming back here. Thanks guys!

These guys do a fine job! There are other reviews in here that state complications with their quality of work, or that the appointments are messed up. This is a small privately owned business and things happen in life, just because they are a few minutes late to an appointment here or there isnt worth talking bad about them. There work speaks for itself. Now for the important stuff:
Appointment made and they serviced me right away
They took their time to do it right the first time
Great customer service from initial phone call to the hand shake after they were done
I plan on taking my other two cars in to get done and also I will be recommending these guys to my coworkers.

The guys at D.A.S. are true professionals. I’ve had many cars tinted by different companies. They are very knowledgeable and checked in with me to let me know progress and were right on time. Same day walk in appointment and all. Lifetime nation wide warranty is a huge plus.

Don’t Go There! Worst place ever, they say they have 3 types of tint but it’s actually one type only!
My friend took his car there, they tinted 4 windows but ran out of tint for the back window, its saturday and has to wait till Tuesday and wants to charge $ 50 to remove the tint when it’s their fault for taking business and not checking if they had enough.

Avoid this place. People are rude and quality is horrendous. The saying is true, «you get what you pay for.»
I originally found this business on Craigslist, and didn’t check their Unilocal reviews. They quoted me a low price for 7 windows, and «guaranteed» customer satisfaction. I scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning at 9am, to have Tony do the job.
I called them Friday afternoon to confirm. It took 3 attempts and 2 voice messages before someone other than Tony picked up the phone and again «guaranteed» customer satisfaction.
I showed up for my appt 5 min early. By 9am no one was there. By 9:35 nobody had shown up to work yet. Their only published phone line (cell phone) was off and the voice mailbox was full. I emailed the email address on the craigslist ad, but still got no response.
The janitor showed me the interior or the «store» and I saw all the films. They were all from TJ — the super cheap stuff.
At 9:45, a younger guy in a maroon DAS shirt gets dropped off, out of a white truck, and he makes a b-​line for the door. He looks at me and my vehicle, and then pretends not to notice me.
By 10am no one came out, no one answered the door, and no one returned any of my communication attempts. I left.
Thankful this didn’t work out.
This place has such poor service that it can be justifiably be categorized as business-​practice-​retardation. The level of service is so far beyond low, and the product is so sub-​standard that you’ll inevitably regret your decision to use this business.
Avoid this place like the plague.
