I had a smog test to be done for a renewal on my jeep registration. I didn’t wait so long, and on their website was coupon for a smog test below $ 29.95. I looked at other places and it was more for the smog testing. And my jeep passed and the result was sent to the DMV for my renewal. The staff was friendly and efficient. I will recommend them to to others, and we have another vehicle to be smog tested. I will send my hubby to have his car smog testing this week.

The people here are great… I put Evans auto shop into my gps and somehow it took me to this shop. I’m very glad it did. They looked at my car right away and figured out the problem. They changed the battery and ordered the part for the oil leak quickly so I was able to come in today and have it fixed in 30 min or so. The prices are very reasonable. A lot cheaper than Evans. The car is running perfectly. Very happy customer:)

I just wanted to say that I have had such a great experience with My Auto Pro Shop. I have had numerous experiences with other shops, some well known, and I can say I am most pleased with My Auto Pro Shop’s prices, service and just their overall sincerity. I came in to get a second opinion on my car when my Honda mechanic gave me a quote for repairs that needed to be done. My Auto Pro looked at my car and gave me a quote for the same repair at a far less expensive price than the actual Honda dealer. They were personable, professional and honest.
I recently came back to My Auto Pro because my other car needed brakes. Again, I was pleased with their service. They listened to me, gave me their honest opinions and suggestions and did what was in my best interest. It’s hard to find a good mechanic and after many, many trial and errors with past mechanics, I think I’ve found a keeper.

Had to come in for a smog check, competitive prices. They had it all done quickly. Very helpful and pleasant. Check them out!

I’ve taken my car in for SMOG inspection and tire replacement, and both times I received excellent, speedy service! They were very accommodating and the service was handled in a professional manner. Also, their pricing is very reasonable and I believe they give you fair value for their service. I will be going back to them for any future work I’ll need on my car, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and reasonable auto shop.

Place sucks, we bought 4 new tires, one split on bottom after 4 weeks and guy said was covered on warranty, when it was time to replace it he changed his mind and said it wasn’t, wanted $ 65 for new tire, told him to get lost, guy is a crook, beware.

UPDATE: shop owner called my husband today to say he didn’t like the Unilocal review i posted below.
to their credit, they did keep the car overnight again last night and coolant system appears to be working now along with the a/​c. they replaced the non working coolant tank cap and the replacment cap holds pressure, the fan runs, and so far today there has been no overheating or coolant leaks. perhaps our car is too old to fix, perhaps not … but My Auto Pro did fix what we were able to pay for.

$ 500 later… car is worse.
took car in due to occasional coolant leak we simply couldnt find on our own. they told us the overflow reservoir was cracked in 2 places and fan wasn’t working. replaced both. that nite it erupted and spilled all coolant out.
next day they said it was thermostat and leaking head gaskets. replaced thermostat and had to leave it with them overnite to do gasket sealant.
next morning there was smoke billowing out of exhaust system, too much coolant in the overflow tank, and they now said engine must be warped and needed total replacement. wtf?!? at this point both our finances and patience have run out with My Auto Pro.
that nite the car overheated again spitting out all coolant again (no longer the occasional drip as before). we discovered the cap to ‘new’ coolant tank was loose and wouldn’t tightening. we also discovered the fan wasn’t working, and apparently either was anything else they supplied. to make matters worse we discovered the muffler detached from the tailpipe — the true cause of yesterday’s smoke.
bottomline, we took car in for small, occasional coolant drip, spent $ 500, the original problem is much worse and we now have more problems than before they worked on it. im no expert but this is bull.

Came here to get my SMOG check since its due soon. I came here after doing my online check and finding a great coupon deal. Ash helped me with my car. They were fast and professional. I would recommended this place for a fast quick smog check esp when your on a time limit.

This shop provides excellent customer service. While I was waiting they fed me lunch also since they had an extra burger to spare! They were able to quickly diagnose my engine check light issue on my Hyundai and repaired it quickly. In the same afternoon, they also did the smog test on my Mustang. Very nice people to work with I will definitely comeback back here for any future service needs.

The best place in Lemon Grove for a smog check in and out in 15 minutes. These are vary friendly and honest I will be back for all my car needs. See toy guys next week I will be back to do my brakes.

DIY car guy here who can tell a shady shop, but these guys are as honest as they come.
I inherited a very neglected, 16-​year old car and brought it here for a smog expecting bad news and a likely donation to charity. It failed as expected, so they gave me very reasonable estimate for the minor repairs needed. Got a free ride home while the work was performed. Sure enough, next morning we had the car passing, re-​test is free of course.
Since the car was not as bad as I thought, I decided to keep it, and got estimates for 2 tires plus brake and coolant flushes. They were happy to give me full details of the work and condition, let me inspect car on the lift, and sell all parts at cost. When more problems were discovered during brake flush, they sent a photo text message so I could see and decide, again with a very reasonable estimate, honest opinion and no pressure.
These guys put my car back on the road cheaply and quickly, and answered all «car guy» questions to my satisfaction. Whether you care about the details or not, these guys know their stuff and just want to make you happy so you can drive with confidence and bring your business back.
