Vey’s Powersports Lemon Grove

It’s not often I am shocked, but wow. Came in to buy a 2015 KTM 350 XCF-​W that was on the website the day before, but it had already sold. Worked with Andre and Arnie to get an amazing deal on a 2016 KTM 350 XCF-​W. The selection of KTM’s they had available was great, the service was outstanding and they earned all of my business as well as anybody I know who rides.
Well stocked, knowledgeable staff, Best prices in town, all around great store.

We just bought an ATV from Veys lemon grove, and what a great experience we had. The manager Arnie and salesmen Kurtis helped us with all of our needs and made the buying experience GREAT. Go see them for the best prices and best buying experience in all of Southern California

Not a great selection of UTVs or ATVs. Prices are nothing special. Guy at service counter was not friendly or the least bit interested in assisting me. Salesmen on floor were friendly but annoying, trying to find an angle to sell me anything right at that very moment, after telling them MANY times I was not interested in buying anything. It drove me out of the store before I was even half done browsing.

First of all Rudy was awesome but when i spoke to the sales manager he was very argumentative and made me feel like I was in a hostile environment. He was also charging me 4k more then Southbay Motorsports when they told me they could match the price of the particular bike I wanted. Then I wanted a picture of the payment plan for the bike and they STRONGLY refused me taking the picture. Then another associate randomly jumped in without any hesitation to be little my decision to search elsewhere. I would NEVER recommend this shop for anyone searching for a new bike so I hope my advice was helpful because this was Totally uncalled for.

Just wanted to take the time to thank this store for all your help. Calling around every parts department to see if they are aligned with an exhaust company. Inquiring for the TOCE exhaust for my R1. Trying to pay with the Kawasaki card so had to be a dealership who deals with kawi called up parts and spoke to Sammy in parts. He said we should be able to so wait a couple days and get a call says they gonna b able to become a dealer for them. Just received my package yesterday and man I’m excited for this to be on my bike. If you need anything from parts come see Sammy in parts sure he will help you out for all your needs thanks Sammy

Just went in to check out the new location. its much easier to get to and there is a lot of parking versus the El Cajon Blvd shop. Staff was very pleasant and greeted us when we came in. Looked over the prices but I would have to compare more shops to find out how good or bad they were. Did not use service or talk to service at all. Overall nice facility, clean and cool and a lot of bikes.

I needed an oil change and a new windshield for my R6, so I took it straight to vey’s (no call ahead or appointment) and was met by nathan. I told him I thought someone had messed with my bike so he walked me around my bike and found some damage and little things that should be done that another shop had missed. Took his time explained every option I had with the work that needed to be done along with the price. He even shopped around to look for cheaper parts for me. All around super helpful, and while a bit expensive, was needed. Not pushy and very understanding. I appreciates all the help and patients.

Just wanted to give VEYS credit for what they did for me. They fixed my bike order my parts and got it back in shape. All this reviews I seen are bad. I don’t get it why VEYS ARE GREAT! THANKS to NATHAN, ERIC, SCOTT, KYLE, ANDREY. they made this process go smooth and well. I’m defenetly coming back again and again and again. Thanks VEYS you guys are a life saver

I was highly impressed with the service I received from Kyle at Vey’s PowerSports in Lemon Grove. I thought I blew out the front tire on my Yamaha FZ6R on the freeway. I brought the bike in and fully expected to pay for a new tire. However, Kyle informed me that it was only the tire stem. I paid a lot less than I thought I would and that always makes a person happy. I appreciate the honesty and efficiency these guys deliver each time I get service.

I called to see if they can take a look as to why bike is running high. And the person said yes $ 140.00 just to look at it. What a rip off. I went to national city motorcycle and they look and fix it for free. It took him 10 minutes to look and fix it.

Ok, let start by saying i never really post reviews but felt the need to because I looked everywhere else for a new bike Yamaha Bolt 2014 or 15′ and by far they had the cheapest deal in SD and had already been pre-​approved at another dealership and didnt like the interest rate of 20% they wanted to give me. I saw a ton of bad reviews and stayed away from looking at Vey’s but after a year of looking I went online and saw they had a Yamaha Bolt 2014 brand new for $ 5,999. The best deal I found. So I filled out the online application and was called back by and was asked to come in a show proof of my income and in 45 mins of showing up I walked out with my 2014′ Yamaha Bolt with a interest rate of 7.9% and payments under $ 200.00. I was so happy with Alvarez and Cory I believe his name was. I will for sure go back and purchase something else from them.

My r/​r burned in my vfr800 so I was suggested to go here by a bmw mechanic in clairemont. (maybe my first mistake!) Dropped off in the early afternoon and was told that they’d have it diagnosed before close. Well I call before close and they told me it will be the next day… okay. I call next day and was told that the technician wasn’t in so that it will have to be the next day. This is just waiting for a diagnosis mind you. I call on the second day and they told me that my burnt harness was fixed and that I’ll need a new r/​r. Even though they didn’t tell me they were going to do this I assume they put this in part of their flat «lets take a look» fee so that was cool!
I appreciate their patience with my insistence on getting an aftermarket r/​r (oem 98′ vfr800 r/​r are naturally faulty) but it took a couple extra unnecessary days this way because I was told for the part to be shipped to me and not directly to the shop. That can make sense but I DD this bike and I live in Mira Mesa so I wasn’t going to spend $$$ on über nor did I have the time for public transport.
They install the r/​r and give it back to me for a total of shy just over 2 bills, which is excluding the $ 150 rectifier I bought. The bike was back in shape and ready to go! Was sweet to get back on her after about a week of waiting… well, the next day I was getting off work a bit after midnight and my bike would not start. *&#$ but luckily there was a hill and I kickstarted and limped back home. The next morning I took off the fairing to check their work and I see that the wires they needed to connect, between the stator and the r/​r, were crimped and obviously not very well since a couple of them came undone.
I called that day, a little agitated, and told them that I want to bring the bike back and have them fix it. The immediate reply was that I shouldn’t of taken the fairing off and that I already did too much and they don’t know if they’ll be able to do anything about it. Super on the defensive and that slight tone of hinting of my incompetency.
Look, I just paid for $ 200+ for labor. With the simplicity of their job, with how much they were charging me and with the vast resources they were able to use, they wen’t below par. Why can’t you sodder and heat shrink the darn things and call it a day Vey’s? SUPER SIMPLE.
While I was dropping off the bike and picking her back up the fellas were really helpful but I just wish that translated to whomever was actually touching my baby. Will not be coming back and will not tell others to come here either. I should of left my bike at the Ivan’s Fast Bikes parking lot, on day one, and waited the extra day till Ivan opened.

I thought I would try veys to purchase a motorcycle despite all of the bad reviews online and warnings from friends.
I received a price guarantee from Costco so I didn’t have to haggle with the sales persons. There’s only one problem…
Alverez the salesman I made an appointment with for Friday decided not to show up at work … Also when we talked on the phone 3 days prior to the appointment he guaranteed the bike I wanted would only take 1 day to get and would be there on Friday as well.
So I missed work to buy a new bike and showed up at 10:00 am on friday.
No Alverez
No bike
No sale
And the so-​called sales manager knew Nothing.

Quick update on the awesome service I got a couple of weeks ago… Scott, the manager had really gone out of his way to get me the right piece of protective gear for pretty hard-​core enduro riding. Got to use the gear and it was absolutely worth the wait, and spot on perfect for the job at hand!
Couldn’t be more pleased with Vey’s personnel and selection. Will always go back there for my parts and service needs…

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. This has to be the most conniving and rude dealer I’ve ever encountered. Their website advertised a 2014 yz250f for $ 5000. When I went in they confirmed it was 5k and started the paperwork process. When Scott told me I was approved he laid out a sheet with the dealer fees and had me sign it. He then said we had to go to his office to complete the paperwork. After I had filled out and signed several forms Scott put the last form in front of me that showed a balance of $ 800 more than the paperwork I had previously signed. When I questioned it he said it was for a 1 year warranty (which I have no use for) and that if I didn’t want to buy it then the base price of the bike would be $ 800 more. They never mentioned this would be the case until I was signing the last form. Wound up paying $ 7900 for a bike advertised at $ 5000.

It’s no surprise this place has horrible reviews… called trying to get a price for a first time riders’ atv, the salesman said, «dirt bike?» Seriously, if a guy working at a power sports store doesn’t know what an atv is, who does? Anyway, the guy was a jerk. couldn’t even give us any price ideas without going in to the store, complete waste of time!

This was my first purchase from Vey’s, my second motorcycle that I have owned, and my first brand new bike purchase. I had spent months researching on the bike. On the forums, talking with owners, and when I was finally ready started visiting all the shops in the area. I visited Vey’s as 2^nd of 3 shops and did visit all 3 (FBC, and North County House of Motorcycles).
I worked directly with Tyler at Vey’s and I must say he was the definition of customer service. I originally went in looking for a 2014 year bike which they advertised at an excellent price and when I got there they didn’t have anymore. I was disappointed. But the exciting part was when Tyler said they had a 2015 at the warehouse and would offer it to me at the same price! I want to tell you all that I called all the shops in all of southern California and I’m here to tell you they were the first to receive the New Year model!
I continued shopping around and that’s when all the dealer slandering began. «They don’t actually have the bike!» …“They’re lying to you!” … «The price they offered you is not real it’s a lie!» … PEOPLE!!! Nothing could be further from the truth! I called Tyler, and he and his manager Scott personally verified the bike was actually there despite what all the other dealers were saying and while I was on a business trip, Tyler sent me pictures as the bike was assembled and made ready just for me (proof of life if you will).
I must have called him a dozen times asking questions, price comparisons, and for bike verification. Whether he was working or at home when you shop with Vey’s you get an advocate from start to finish.
So to end this long rant you probably know by now that customer service is very important to me, and that after visiting all the shops in the area they have earned my business. I will be purchasing all my future bikes from them. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS TEAM MORE!!!
So thank you to my sales rep Tyler, and Managers Scott and Alvarez for making this experience a SATISFYING one, vice the normal mental and emotionally taxing situation that has stigmatized bike buying experience.

Wow. No disrespect to anyone, but I am so glad I didn’t read these (negative) reviews first. Let me say first that we met Scott the day before, and he has been by far the most honest and informative person we have met in our hunt for a bike (we have been looking for about a year).
The next day, we came in to explore further. Scott was at another office, but he reached out to Mark and told him to take care of us. To sum it up, NO HASSLE, no BS, and even another customer confirmed (my already good feeling) while in store (who purchased his bike the day before).
To make a long story short, we left with 2015 fz-​09, and we are very satisfied with the entire experience! We definitely will be lifetime customers!

This place is terrible! I was having issues with my GSX-​R 600 and went to a few companies within the area to seek help and VEY took 3 days to get back to me. After they finally calld me back and left several messages I figured my business wasn’t important to them since it took so long to return my calls so I refused to call them back.
Last week I was looking for a stand for my bike and when we walked in to the Lemon Grove location, not ONE of the employees said hi or welcome, they didn’t even ask if we needed help. I went back to the parts area and asked the guy behind the counter a question and he looked at me like I was inconveniencing him by asking for help. When we left the store after about 10 minutes of being there not one employee said a single word to us. I will never go back to this location or support any thing associated with VEY motor sports because of the terrible customer service. I’m happy I went else where when I was looking for my motorcycle.
