West Hills College in Lemoore is one of the the best community colleges in the Central Valley! The teachers and staff members are committed to helping students succeed. The college also offers a variety of online classes which makes it very convenient for parents who are returning to college and distance learning college students. –West Hills alumni & current Fresno State student

This community college is spacious, and the staff there are really helpful and friendly. I just wished they offered four year programs or degrees, and another great point about this place is that they are expanding soon!

Definitely needs work with the people who work there. Veteran services are terrible. Only nice person was the financial aid person who I got all my information I needed and most sane person to talk to(not the black girl she talks like you’re a waste of her time and very annoyed). The classes are very full and over booked on a wait list. Make sure you’re fully prepared to schedule when you’re able to ASAP.

So far I haven’t seen a nicer Jr. College campus. Can’t comment on the academics.

pros: very very unimpacted, extremely friendly and accommodating advisors and staff, new, clean cons: middle of nowhere, but totally trumped by pros. i actually commuted from fresno because i was so happy with them.
