Westlake Ace Hardware

This ACE hardware store is the absolute BEST place to shop for home needs items. The staff is ALWAYS MORE than willing to be helpful, regardless of the size of the sale. I have shopped here for years, they are always willing to go ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!

This is my favorite store. Very friendly and helpful. Jesse the manager is also always a pleasure to talk to.

So far every time I’ve been to this location they have been super nice. They take time to take you to where you need to go rather than say in isle14.
They have a little but of everything from outside lawn and garden stuff to kitchen and canning supplies. My favorite thing is one time i in looking for something i thought i had made up in my head but low and behold the lady working there took me right to what i was looking for.
I love just walking the isle to see what they have.

This review is based purely on service. They really don’t have as much inventory as the big DIY giants nearby, but they have people that will actually help and explain things. Also, while they might be short the big ticket stuff, but if you’re going nuts looking for the weird screw or fastener, don’t waste time. Go here first.

Love this Westlake. Great, friendly staff and very willing to help you find what you are looking for or help you fix something.
They cut glass, pipe, plastic, you name they will cut it for you to spec.
They don’t let the lines get backed up the call for extra cashiers.
They have a small kitchen section for fun gadgets, a great tool section with Craftsman now. Pumping and Paint departments are well supplied and have people to help you out and make suggestions.
Westlake trains their staff well.
They have a nice selection of Heirloom seeds, live plants seasonally and Christmas trees also seasonally.

Have you ever found yourself wandering aimlessly in one of the giant warehouse hardware stores, totally lost? The obvious place for them to carry the item you want; isn’t where it would make the most sense?
With Westlake on W 87^th, you won’t have that problem. Its small enough to see completely across the store. granted they don’t carry some of the designer type amenities that the others do, but in 15 years of shopping in this store, I can find what I need in 98 percent of the time. either by myself, or with assistance which is actually experienced.
The have an extensive array of what most people need most often like toilet repair, nuts & bolts… and so many things you don’t even know what they are until you need one.
The outdoor lawn and garden center expands in the spring to encompass most of the parking lot with trees, shrubs and tons of flowers.
With the corporate rewards program you get actual gift cards in the mail from time to time depending on how much shopping that you have done.
Its always nice to get five or ten dollars knocked off your bill!

Knowledgable staff. Good selection. Parking is difficult during the spring garden season, as over half the parking spaces are taken over by the plants, I will always shop at a Westlake or local hardware store rather than the big boxes.
