I called last minute just to ask if anyone there did great buzz cuts on women (its harder than it sounds and few hairstylists are brave enough). My eyelashes queen Sam recommended Kaylee and she had 1appt open. I grabbed it. She totally ROCKED it! Did the front EXACTLY how I wanted added style to the sides instead of just making it short. Sam (who I also highly recommend) then did my eyelashes and I felt like a new chick. Kaylee is my new stylist. Thanks ladies, you are awesome! !

I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to share my extremely disappointing experience with this salon. Let me give a little background first, I made an appointment with my best friend to get a pedicure and gel manicure. We had an okay experience while at the salon. It was clean, the staff was friendly enough. However, as soon as we left, my best friend showed me her nails — they were bumpy-​looking. As soon as I got home that night, one of my gel nails came off. The next day, a second came off. My toes were chipped within a day of the pedicure as well.
I reached out to the salon, hoping that they could fix my nails. I could look past mediocre manicure if they could make up for it with service. Unfortunately, they never called me back I lost 3 more gel nails over this weekend. The manicure did not even last a week. Sadly, I will not be returning. I only wish they could keep their word.

I am soooo happy with the haircut that I got by Kathy last week. I don’t have the easiest hair to work with. It’s very curly, and before I cut it, it was pretty long. I’ve gone to stylists who didn’t seem to understand curly hair and how it’s a totally different beast to work with, but this absolutely was not the case with Kathy! She did a great job of listening to my requests and gave me a haircut that I totally love. No «triangle head» that sometimes can happen with curly hair. Also, she was just a very nice person and easy to talk with!
The salon itself looks really cool on the inside, kind of an open concept with a second story where I’m guessing they do other spa treatments, I’m not sure because I never went up there. With the Groupon that I purchased, I got a deep conditioning treatment, a cut, and a style, and it was very reasonable! The price without a Groupon for the cut seemed affordable too and I’m definitely planning on coming back!

I decided to go to Allure for a haircut simply because I could book an appointment online for the next day and it had good reviews. I was not disappointed! I had to wait a little bit, but my haircut was fast and easy. I told Jurien what I was looking for and she nailed it. She was also super friendly. I love the way my hair came out and I would definitely go back!

My stylist was Jurein and she made a simple trim and blow dry feel glamorous.
Just moved to the area and found myself needing a new stylist. I went to Allure because the reviews were great and the prices were reasonable (for long hair cut and blow dry are not inexpensive but still reasonable). In only half an hour Jurein trimmed my hair and took the time to blow dry and pin my hair into loose waves after I mentioned my hair’s lack of body or ability to hold a curl.
She cut my hair and bangs exactly how I asked and did a great job :)

I just started coming to Allure, because my hair stylist Christina is here. She does a great job on my hair. Every once in awhile, I tell her to do what she wants and it always comes out beautiful, whether I have short hair or long hair, blonde hair or brunette hair.
Along with Christina I have also found Lisa, the awesome nail artist, that can do almost anything! She is pleasant to talk to, funny, and I really enjoy getting my nails done now. No worries that someone is talking about me in a foreign language!!!
I definitely suggest Allure Salon to everyone!

1^st appointment today and I am soooo happy! It’s hard to find a stylist who can work with thick curls like mine, but Jurein knew exactly what to do. My hair looks fabulous with lots of pretty layers. She was really friendly, too.
I guess they must have relocated, because other people talked about the salon being a bit dingy. It was open, airy, lots of natural light – really nice.
All that and it was super affordable. $ 20 for a cut and blow dry.

First time client. Place was stylish but cozy. There was one woman leaving when I arrived. You think it would be weird, being the only person there, but Nina was so friendly and personable that we talked the whole time like old friends. She listened to everything I requested, and executed a beautiful, stylish, modern cut. Not to mention the color of the highlights are perfect for what I was picturing. In love, thanks Nina!

I made an appointment with Brandi a couple months ago after seeing the work she did on my best friend’s hair. Brandi was incredible. Not only is she so cute and fun to be around, but she’s meticulous. I got a gel manicure — the prettiest nails I’ve ever had. I’ve made an appointment to have her do a cut and highlight.

I purchased a Groupon for a color, cut and conditioning. The price was a good value for the dollar, but you get what you pay for.
I brought a picture with me of the cut I wanted and showed it to the «stylist» no less than 5 times and I walked away with one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had… AND it didn’t look anything like the picture. The last time I showed her the picture, I said… «this is what I want it to look like.» The response was… «So, do you want more off the ends?» When I nicely stated that there was a significant difference in length and style — I then had to deal with an attitude with a pair of scissors in her hands. Once she got huffy — I cut my losses, paid my bill and will never go back again.
Maybe others have better luck… lesson learned for me.

I initially went to Allure after I bought my Groupon coupon. Nina did a wonderful color with highlights and gave me a great haircut! I returned for an overall color and haircut. My highlights did not show through like Nina thought they would. I called and Nina had me come in so she could give me highlights – free. She did a wonderful job. I have received many compliments on my hair. Nina is also very nice.

I hate to leave a bad review. In purchasing 2 groupons (one for 2 pedi, one for 2 gel manis) I had high hopes of finding a new nail place. I was sadly disappointed. My first pedi with Brandy (who is obviously experienced) was great. Second one, not so much, with Nina. She is a nice girl… don’t get me wrong. But she does not listen to your concerns. She left large «gaps» of either side of my toenails, and messy polish job. I tried again, and she gave me a gel mani 2 days before my (anticipated) engagement/​proposal. Well, I wanted a french, I got a messy french. I asked her why was the tips on so narrow and left a large portion of my natural nail exposed? She said it was supposed to look like that… I voiced my concern a couple more times… nothing… she was very rushed… When she was almost done. she said well do you want me to do them again? Well no I don’t. I have been sitting here for over an hour between a gel mani and pedi. So I left. well guess what… the NEXT DAY it was lifting. the following day, even worse. I had to soak them off myself. I swore I would never go back. On second thought, maybe it was her. I tried again. Went yesterday, this time I saw Amanda… I opted for a red gel manicure as they were out of many of the colors. Not only was she sniffling with a cold and checking her cell phone the whole time (she told me she’s been there 2 weeks) — she filed my longish nails, lopsided. Hand massage, with ICE COLD hands (how relaxing). 24 hours later, guess what? Chipping.
If you want a cheap mani/​pedi. buy the groupon. prepare to have your services done by a barely legal nail tech probably out of school with substandard work ethics. They offer groupons on a weekly basis… it’s like herding cattle. In and out. you won’t most likely be back. Unless you can get one of the owners to do it. which most likely isn’t going to happen (they are never an option with «availability» in the «online» booking feature)
Allure, if you want to get and KEEP customers, try working on listening to the CUSTOMER. I complained on my 1^st gel mani to Tracy on the v/​m and never even got an apology.
I will go back to the Asian joints. At least they pay attention to the details!

I used a Groupon to Allure for a wax and nails. The place is in a convenient location, but as soon as you walk in, it’s substandard in appearance. It does not feel like a spa. It felt chincy, no attention to detail with the décor. Messy paint job throughout the building. My wax job was okay, but the esthetician was very messy with her application. After the wax, I had a ‘spa’ pedi/​mani and the massage chairs were torn and not functioning. Oddly, the esthetician was also my nail tech, but I don’t believe she had much training in that area either. She applied the polish so that there was a large gap, as if she were afraid to get paint on me. Hell, she wasn’t afraid to leave wax on me.
The facility was dirty, dingy, and not at all relaxing. I felt like both the waxing and mani/​pedi combo were left incomplete. I stopped by a store after I left and picked up polish that was close to the color I chose and reapplied the color that night.
The only reason I gave it two stars instead of 1 was because they were polite and I felt comfortable during the entire waxing procedure. They need to update their equipment and clean up shop and perhaps invest in training sessions for their field.

I will preface this by saying I should write 2 separate reviews because there is a huge variance in my rating based on which service you are receiving! I have had excellent experiences with Tracey and will continue seeing her for waxing services.
I recently had a gel manicure with Nina to prepare for my wedding. It was the WORST manicure I have ever received (gel or otherwise.) My hands were not soaked to soften the skin, cuticles were totally neglected, nails were not filed the same length and the white for the french manicure didn’t even cover the natural white at the ends of my nails, so it looked odd. The gel was put on very sloppy and actually was on the edges of my skin, so when it started pulling away the next day, it also pulled off my fingernail! This was the first manicure I have ever had that was less than 20 minutes start to finish.
Since all of my other experiences have been positive with Tracey, it is disappointing that this service was so bad!

Allure gets 5 stars from me. I purchased a groupon for a facial, and Tracy earned a loyal customer. She did an amazing job, was friendly, and made me feel comfortable. I had another facial this morning, and it was just as fantastic.
Little confession: I have crazy Sasquatch eyebrows. They’re bushy, unruly, and don’t grow in evenly. I find myself constantly struggling to keep them somewhat even. I over plucked and decided it was time to let them grow in and leave it to Tracy to start from scratch. She did the best job I’ve ever had! After her waxing, my brows are even, the perfect shape for my face, and actually look good. I’m ecstatic!

I have been going to Allure since it opened. It is a cute little place that offers everything you would want. It is located right next to Johnny Appleseed school. I go there for my hair and get that done by Brandi. She is the only person I trust with my hair and it always comes out great. I am never afraid to try new things with my hair when I go see her because i know it will come out awesome. I also get facials done by Tracey. I actually got my first facial from her ever. The room is relaxing and she is very nice. I would reccomend this salon to anyone. They always have groupons as well so if you would like to try it out that would be a perfect oppurtunity.
