Aunty Ellen’s Creative Confections

Cupcakes were amazing! Service was great– I made an order on a Tuesday for the following Saturday with no problem, and the price was great. Less than $ 2 per cupcake. I had the Oreo, lemon-​coconut, and regular yellow with buttercream. All were delicious, and I appreciate the array of flavors that were available!

Ellen is the best! She cares so much about her customers.
Everything is so yummy. The carrot-​cake cupcakes and lemon tarts are my favorite. They have a little coffee station, too. The shop itself is adorable, inside and out. You can’t miss it when passing through the center of town :)

Having just moved to the area I spontaneously stopped in. I got a dozen cupcakes. Nothing special here. The cupcakes were small and dry. The batter seemed like it wasn’t mixed well as some of the bites of the cupcake was sweeter. I also felt they were overpriced in proportion. I had really high hopes as when i walked in the ace seemed very clean and the service was prompt. I guess i. am spoiled from previously living close to Modern Pastry which has the vest red velvet cupcakes ever!

Our cake got messed up and when I emailed the owner to let her know she offered to make us another one at no cost…

Got a birthday cake for my daughter which had a beach motif, very cute but looks aren’t everything. There was no flavor in the frosting. It was like eating a stick of margarine. the cake was dry and tasteless. I paid $ 35 for bland and boring. Had one of their cupcakes a couple of months later purchased by friends who thought they were giving us a treat. a repeat of the birthday cake experience. Being married t a former pastry chef I know a good cake when I taste it and Aunty Ellen’s doesn’t even come close. Sadly, we ended up throwing it away because no one wanted to eat it!

I have to say that Aunty Ellen’s is an experience. As soon as you walk in the door, you would think you were brought to Bermuda or one of the islands. Very bright, festive, different. The cupcakes that she and her staff makes are both delicious to eat and delicious to look at. Can’t wait to get more!

We bought our wedding cake here and everyone loved it. When we ate the top a year later it was just as good. We also got my daughter’s 10^th birthday cake here and the kids devoured it. Best place in the area. Don’t go anywhere else in Leominster because you’ll be disappointed.

Great location in the downtown area however I was disappointed by the quality of their stuff. Got a dozen cupcakes and the frosting tasted like straight up butter. When I asked the girl what kind of bitterness it was she told me there is only one kind… which one Swiss, Italian, American, French??? I also saw the staff unloading bags of «boxed» cake mix from a delivery. Also heard complaints about order mix ups when they get too busy. Not worth the $$$ for market basket quality

The best cupcakes I have ever had. Ever! I thought that they were a bit over priced for plain, unfilled cupcakes with simple frosting but they were incredibly delicious!

This is a wonderful bakery! We have frequented it multiple times for cupcakes and cookies and we are always pleased with what we get. We recently bought a dozen cupcakes for my mom’s birthday and my family couldn’t believe how great ALL our selections were. My favorite is the Reese’s PB cupcake! Great bakery-​reasonable prices!

We bought the cake for my sister’s bridal shower here. It was amazing! It was a three-​layer chocolate cake with cannoli fililng and ganache. Oh, it was good. I loved that chocolate ganache so much that I think it loved me back a little bit. I’m going to recommend this place from now on. See the photos I posted for the beautiful sugar flowers they made! It was absolutely gorgeous. It exceeded all of our expectations!

Let me start with the treats from Auntie Ellen’s are amazing and very reasonably priced. Her staff is super friendly and helpful! I often stop by on my way to a cookout or if I am having people over for dinner to find something tasty to share. The staff will even cut the brownies into small bite sized pieces for you. Recently Ellen made a decorated an Anniversary Cake for my husband and I. Not only was it Beautiful but it was delicious. I am not sure why a reviewer said that Ellen’s food is anything but fantastic. I have been their many times and have never found anything that was not completely fresh and yummy. Finally, I am most impressed by how involved Ellen is with the community. It seems that Ellen does not bat an eye lash before agreeing to help out the community in any way she can. I would and do recommend this bakery any chance I get.

I have many things to say about Ellen and her business. First off, I can’t even begin to explain how delicious her cupcakes were! I had her bake some for a bridal shower that I was planning and she made a specific flavor just for us! She is always willing to try new creations to accommodate you. Every single person that I spoke with at the bakery was more than kind and helpful. If I had a question, I could call up the shop with no problem and speak to an associate. As for Ellen, it was awesome to be able to directly communicate with her. She was more than willing to work with us when it came to our budget and I really could not have asked for a better experience. The cupcakes were EXACTLY what we were looking for; perfect size, perfect flavor, etc. Again, I would just like to stress how amazing my experience was with this bakery. The customer service was outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone:)

There was an open parking space across the street and I was craving something sweet and tasty so I stopped in. Nicely decorated space, very nice counter help, but the treats I bought were pretty awful.
The almond macaroon cookies were stale and oddly flavored, while the toffee cookies were stale and tasteless. I guess no flavor is better than odd flavor. A bite from each, another nibble to confirm their yuckiness and I pitched them.
The German Chocolate brownie was way under baked and gross. It came from a refrigerated case, and might as well been a square of cold brownie dough. The corn syrupy sweet frosting was piled on thick, but it really didn’t make things any better. I tried to eat it, but pitched it after a couple of bites too.
My Aunty Ellen experience left me down $ 7.50 and still looking to satisfy my sweet tooth. Can’t recommend.

Look, cupcakes are so trendy right now that I would normally be inclined to reject all places who choose to jump on to the cupcake bandwagon… until I had the cupcakes at this little bakery. Holy Sh#T they make good cupcakes… I had lunch at Mezcal and decided it would be a nice gesture to grab some cupcakes to bring back to the office. My intention was to not have one for myself… but then I did and then I decidednot to share any of them… I was like a fat kid on a cake… gawd they make good cupcakes… they can’t spell worth a damn but they can bake. Aunty is spelled Auntie. Just saying.

I have no idea why this place doesn’t have many reviews! I love this bakery it is just delicious. I actually have ordered several large orders from here such as 4 birthday cakes and 75 cupcakes! They were amazing with their service and the end product was awesome! I would recommend them to anyone!

Amazing! Not only did they take my somewhat large cupcake order when they were shorthanded and overloaded but the cupcakes are divine! So happy to have a GREAT cookie/​cake shop around.

This well appointed little shop has some of the best creations I’ve had outside of Europe!
The owner sets the tone from the moment you arrive with a unique and sincere greeting. She routine makes excellent suggestions and offers or make something special. The staff is well school in customer satisfaction, it is always a pleasure doing business here.
You’ll find the small seating area inviting and comfortable. Stop in, you won’t be sorry…
