Stopped by on our bike ride and didn’t feel like coffee so we got smoothies. Pincolada, strawberry and strawberry/banana were all awesome! Have to stop back for a cup a Joe. Great stop!

Solid fresh-roasted coffee — cozy shack vibe — a couple good choices. East Coast vibe. Better than Starbucks.

A great coffee shop and an excellent coffee store & roaster. I drink my coffee iced 95% of the time and to date I have only ordered iced coffee here. The large is enormous, probably 32 ounces and $ 5. It is worth it I think. The coffee flavor is much more mild than the cold brew I’m used to but it packs an enormous caffeine punch. A large on an empty stomach is a bad idea for most humans, so drinker beware.

In a sea of 7 Elevens and Dunkin Donuts, Jersey Shore Coffee Roasters is the obvious and preferred alternative. We almost missed this place when we drove by. We did a u-turn and came back. SO glad we did. Along with our regular latte and iced latte(with soy milk, hooray) we enjoyed some biscotti and cookies from the Flaky Tart Bakery(happily added to my list of places to visit). Pssst, get the pb filled peanut butter cookie. I’m very happy to know this place exists and will definitely return when I’m in the area.

Another visit to the fantastic place leaving the decision up to the young lady behind the counter and she did not disappoint. She made me a fabulous Latte and put a cute leaf design on top. Enjoying some Neil Young and sipping my coffee with a Cherry Pistachio biscotti. I travel the country every week and eat at some unbelievable places but when I get home I can’t wait to get back here and relax with great coffee and comfortable surroundings. Now to grab some beans for home brew! FoodDude!

I am embarrassed to admit that in my beginning stages of coffee drinking I used to pass this place up in favor of Dunkin Donuts. Hey… I was young, I was stupid, I thought a blueberry mocha iced coffee was a reasonable thing to order. Then I went away to college and learned the true importance of caffeine. Now that I am older and wiser(as far as coffee is concerned), whenever I am back in NJ this is my favorite place to grab coffee. The people working there are so friendly and enthusiastic, it seems like they really care about what they’re doing. There’s a little bit of seating inside and the interior is very cozy. They offer some basic food, mostly pastries and bagels. I generally just go in for a drink, but I’m sure this is also a great place to buy beans, they roast them in-house! I usually go for the Jersey Shore Jolt(coffee + espresso) and it’s always great– never burnt or bitter tasting. I recommend it iced!

If this place was around the corner I would never go to a chain coffee house again! My husband and I finally got a chance to stop in and try this place out and we were not disappointed. His espresso and my latte were perfect! We also purchased a couple pounds of coffee, which were equally delicious. I am a die hard coffee fiend and have traveled the world drinking coffee. I am happy to report this is a must try for my fellow coffee brethren. The staff is warm and knowledgable! I couldn’t give it a five simply because the décor left a bit to be desired, but nothing dirty or unclean about it. I can’t wait to stop here in the summer for ice coffee before heading to the beach!

Love this place. The staff are amazing. They are so friendly and welcoming. The coffee beans are roasted in house. I love to bring my travel mug and filling up at the coffee bar, occasionally I have had a latte and they have been yummy too. This is a great place where can enjoy your coffee and learn what is going on in the community.

Unilocal filtered my first review so I will keep this one short. The owners and staff are amazing roasting their beans in house. An amazing selection of coffee from around the world. We are blessed to have such great coffee on the Jersey shore.

Love walking here with my pups and grabbing An iced coffee. They are so accommodating and have given us water for the doggies on warm days. I think if they reprinted the exterior it might draw more business or just modernize it more. They gave good coffee and interior is cute

You shouldn’t play pool against the fellow who brings his custom made cue, even if he is in flip-flops and shorts. He’s a ringer and you’re going to get burned. Yet, when it comes to espresso you should buy from the guy who roasts his own and pulls shots with a naked portafilter. That would be Andy, the owner of Jersey Shore Coffee Roasters. His place looks like another shore snack shack – but its a ringer for some of the best roast coffee in this part of the state. And no, you will never find your coffee roast ‘burnt’ as the other big chains do. Their specialty is a Northern Italian Espresso: tan roast, a crema of tiger stripes and red ochre so thick you cannot skim it away with a spoon. No sugar needed in this cup; the taste is a beautiful mix of tart and fruits that will get your day restarted, any time of the day.

The coffee is always fresh with a wide assortment of flavors. They have the best bagel sandwiches around(BEC’s). Owners and staff are friendly; it’s a homey place to visit, sit and enjoy a cup!

Casual comfortable atmosphere, flavorful coffees, friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff, Jersey Shore Coffee Roasters is a gem of a place to have in the area. Scones and muffins from Flaky Tart are of course outstanding, and so are the very reasonably priced egg on bagel or English muffin and other breakfast sandwich options. Whether driving down Hwy 36(esp. heading west) or biking the Hudson Trail, this is a great stopping off place, with easy parking, to get something to go or to eat/drink in. There is outside seating for when the weather is warm. This is a local business well worth supporting!

This is the best in coffee that Middletown has to offer. I had no idea it was here until I went searching for coffee roasters on Google. Great little shop! I had the Ethiopian Harrar and it was really a great cup of coffee. Lots of varieties and blends to choose from. I was a little disappointed that their coffee roaster is not on display. The roaster always makes for a great centerpiece for a store like that one. They will hand pour any variety of coffee for you if it is not in the pre-brewed airpots(for an additional charge :() The barista working the counter was very knowledgable about the coffees they were offering that day, and he was helpful and friendly. Definitely worth the trip inside if you are driving by on Hwy 36.

I dig this place, man. It’s a bit removed, as the location is kind of in the middle of nowhere. The staff is SOFRIENDLY, they’re so nice it catches me off guard at times. Coffee is outstanding. A lot of local coffee places burn their beans and you get this slightly smoky and INTENSE coffee flavor. They do it correctly here… subtle and flavorful. Well done. They get their pastries from the Flaky Tart BTW. Mmmm. I reserve 5-Star reviews for the absolute«best of something» I’ve been to. There’s a lot of excellent coffee places out there, and JSCR is among the best ’round here.

This is a fantastic, small business that has been(thankfully) thriving in my hometown for years now. The owners are passionate coffee lovers with an expansive knowledge of every kind of coffee they have — and believe me, there is quite a lot. Normally they have about 3 roasts(and one decaf) for a quick cup but behind the main counter are countless blends which can be ground up and taken home. I’ve gotten gifts for friends & family here after asking the owner for his opinions on what is best. The service is fantastic and the vibe is also relaxing — they have comfortable chairs & play this great XM radio station full of Brit-Rock-Pop from the 60s. Another(huge !) plus is that they sell Flaky Tart pastries here(and delicious biscotti). However, what really makes this place special to me is how they treat my father — who is both disabled and has a hard time getting out of the house. The friends he has made here with the owner & staff has made it a welcoming, bright place for him when he occasionally comes out. This little place not only has fantastic coffee but a comforting, small town vibe. It really brings his spirits up. Thank you so much for your warmth and hospitality!

Excellent small batch roasting operation provides my coffee shop with the freshest beans possible. I love being able to tell my customers with confidence, «This coffee was roasted fresh less than a week ago!» We love the Costa Rican«La Amistad» the Guatemalan Huehuetenango, and the northern Italian Espresso roast.
