History

Established in 2013.

15 Strings is a newly established musical group, featuring musicians with over 70 years of experience. Each member of our trio has previously played with various groups, and some continue to play in a variety of bands.

Meet the Manager

Woody W.

Manager

Woody Norris has been playing guitar since he was 9 years old and banjo since he was 12. After experimenting with several different musical genres he has returned to his bluegrass roots. He credits Doc Watson and Tony Rice for influencing his flat-​picking style.

He began playing lead guitar with the Spoon Creek Band in 2007 and continues to perform with this long standing traditional bluegrass group. He has added lead and harmony singing to his many talents.

Woody is one of the founding members of Fifteen Strings. Watch his fingers fly on that Martin guitar. .. you will be mesmerized!
