Meadows Farms retail locations offer high quality plants at the lowest prices. We are focused on providing excellent customer service and a wide variety of both traditional and unique plant material. In addition to providing trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, tropical plants, house plants and «Seasonal» plants (such as Poinsettias, Easter Lilies, and Mums in their respective holiday seasons), Meadows Farms carries a full supply of additional gardening materials. Topsoil, mulches, specialty soils (such as potting and organic), and compost are available by the bucket load or by the bag. Our garden centers are stocked with fertilizers, pest and disease solutions, tools and gloves, and many other products you may need to get your gardening project underway. We carry rock — palletized, bagged, and in some cases bulk — to help with your patio or hardscaping projects, and statuary and fountains to add the finishing touches to your outdoor space.

History

Established in 1960.

Meadows Farms was born 56 years ago when Bill «The Farmer» Meadows began a summer business selling produce to supplement his teaching and coaching salary. Eventually, this door-​to-​door operation developed into roadside market sites until he and his wife Betty opened their first permanent location. Farmer and Betty expanded their product line and site locations, growing to become the 4^th largest retail nursery in the USA, with over 20 locations. Meadows Farms is now a second generation family owned and operated business, led by Farmer and Betty’s son Jay Meadows. The Farmer’s philosophy of high quality plants and customer service at the lowest prices remains the same today as the company heads into the future.
