Beussink Transmission specializes in diagnostic work, repair, and rebuilding of automotive transmissions. The technicians have the experience, knowledge, and latest diagnostic equipment to repair all makes and models, as well as both automatic and standard shift transmissions.

History

Established in 1973.

Fred and Betty Beussink opened Beussink Automatic Transmission Service in their one-​car garage when they first moved back to Leopold, Missouri, in 1973. In 1989 they built our current 5-​bay building. It is located at the corner of N Highway and the entrance into Leopold, which is right beside the Knights of Columbus Hall and ball field.

Today Beussink Transmission & Repair is still owned by a husband-​and-​wife team. The current owner, Mike Vandeven, came to work for Beussink’s in 1999 and soon after began rebuilding transmissions. With the encouragement and blessing of the Beussink family, Mike and his wife, Alicia, purchased the business from the Beussinks on September 1, 2011. With the same workers, it was a smooth transition for everyone without a day of work missed.
