Dedicated Dog Training

My daughter and I met with James a few weeks after our newest family member joined us. James was amazing! He taught us how to properly communicate our wishes to our puppy, and what to realistically expect. We are trying to train our little one to use the yard for his toilet needs, and James’ advise made this process possible. We are looking forward to meeting with James for further training such as commands. What really stood out was that James did not judge our decisions, and repeatedly said ‘what I am saying are recommendations; you will tweak to make them work for you.’ James makes it easy to be honest about your training ability. We will continue to work with James, and highly recommend for anyone in the market for dog training.

James at Dedicated Dog Training was a pleasure to do business with. Communication was on point and scheduling very flexible making my puppy training extremely convenient. Blue, my Aussie, came a long way with the basic commands she was taught and I definitely plan on using Dedicated Dog Training again to continue onto my dogs next level of training! Thank you James!

No No no no No! I am honestly shocked that this place has gotten such good reviews. I called James a couple of months ago about my dog with separation anxiety. Not only did he suggest banging the crate to punish my dog, and get him a bark collar, he made me feel extremely uncomfortable by getting very close to me and saying things like «we need to penetrate the situation, and i don’t mean physically…» who says that??! I was honestly scared to be a female alone with him. Also, he told me he would send me an email with all of his suggestions and he never did. avoid this dog training.

What can I say about James… He has made my life and walking my dog a much happier experience… before him I had a dog that woukd bark at every dog in sight… lunging at bike riders… people running. I was in tears by the time I called… on the phone before we met… he took over a ½ an hour to listen to my issues… dissapointments…and anxiety over Lilo… I had a previous trainer… but after 3 lessons I realized that Lilo was going to need a more suitable mentor
James eased my anxiety (which I didnt realize had hightened Lilos anxiety) we adopted her 8 mos ago… and assumed in time she would adjust to her new enviroment… and calm down… I was wrong… but in just the first session… James was very good at communicating what mistakes I was making… and even grabbed the leash a few times to show me proper handling when passing by a dog/​dogs
After the 3^rd lesson I can say I walk with more confidence and in turn see a big difference in my dogs reaction. I no longer need to cross the street when I see a dog… but have complete faith I can handle the situation if any arises… and that is all I wanted… was to know it won’t always be perfect. …but I dont have to be anxious before I even walk out the door
I would tell anyine looking into a trainer that James at Dedicated Dog Training is the guy for you… at the end of each session we get a work sheet specific to the needs of our dog and what we ourselves need to work on till our next visit

DEDICATED DOG IS THE BEST!
We have a very big dog, he is very sweet BUT it was impossible to walk him, he is very strong and he was dragging us around. We could not open the front door without him trying to bolt out of the door.
We send our dog Bosch to Dog Training while I was giving birth to our twins, we thought that was perfect timing because we would be out of the house for a while — and Bosch would be in training and being taken care of while I am recovering at home,
Bosch came back after 2 weeks and we were amazed on how WELL BEHAVED he is right now! I can finally walk him and I can even walk him OFF LEASH and he will just stay right next to me glued to my left side, He will listen to me on the first time I give him a command and that’s so important! Specially in a house with 2 new born.
I am sooooo thankful James did a great job with our dog, I can relax now and and enjoy my new family and my NEW AND IMPROVED DOG!

Today when dry cleaning knocked at the door for pick up, I gave Bosch the «place» command and he went without a fuss and stayed in his place until I told him he could get out. The door was wide open there was distractions with the kids crying and the guy at the door but my dog just stayed there and waited. That was soooooooooooo good! If feels so good to be able to open the door and any time we want and know the Bosch will not run away.

We just received our french bulldog Lucy back from James at Dedicated Dog Training. I cant get over the change in her. She is so well behaved and a pleasure to have around. We can actually sit down and have a meal and watch tv in peace. I was so nervous at first that she was going to miss us however when it was time for James to leave she wanted to go back with him. James treated Lucy as part of his family which I believe made all the difference. She is still my bundle of energy baby but now is controllable and obedient. I cant thank James enough he delivered on everything he promised us

What James of Dedicated Dog Training has accomplished with our dogs is nothing short of a miracle. We handed over two very sweet but unruly puppies –Chloe, a 1 ½ year old Great Dane and Max, a 6 month old Siberian Husky — what we got on their return were two very different dogs. He has transformed our dogs into two calmer puppies. James did an amazing job; he is very knowledegable, dedicated and professional.
