What is NAET and how does it work?

NAET stands for Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique, which reverses the body’s response to stop reacting to allergies. Dr. Devi Nambudripad is the founder of NAET and is a licensed Medical Doctor, Acupuncturist, Chiropractor and has a PhD in Acupuncture. NAET is a combination of the principles of Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Kinesiology and Nutrition in a unique manner to rid the body of allergies. NAET is a safe, holistic and non-​invasive technique to stop your body from reacting to allergies. According to Oriental Medicine principles, when the body’s energetics are in balance, no disease can exist. When the body comes in contact with an allergen, the energy is disrupted in the pathways called meridians. This results in allergic symptoms. Basically, an allergy is an energy imbalance between the electromagnetic energy of the person and the substance causing adverse physical, physiological and/​or psychological responses in the person’s body.

Dr. Susan Cunningham started her practice in East Meadow, NY, in 1993. A few years later moved her establishment to Levittown, NY. With minimal to no advertising, Dr. Cunningham’s practice flourished from internal referrals. She has a highly reputable family practice of all ages ranging from toddlers to seniors.

Dr. Cunningham works with all chronic conditions. A few examples are chronic fatigue, asthma, eczema, chemical sensitivities, menopausal symptoms, and much more.
