Since 1993, we have performed throughout the country, from coast to coast, for major corporations, casinos, resorts, birthdays, fund-​raisers, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, bar/​bat mitzvahs, sweet sixteen’s, children’s parties… you name it ! What makes us stand out from the others is that we create a new show each time. That’s right, each show is different, having been written and created for that performance only. And we can create shows based upon all sorts of themes, from wedding themes to cabaret, from corporate setting to mob show. No matter what, each show is unique for our audience, no one ever sees the same show twice. But all our events have this in common: with each show, professional Broadway, TV and film actors are mixed in with the audience and evidence is created in which you are implicated as suspects. And prizes are awarded to the winner who can solve the crime!

History

Established in 1993.

Our first show was a benefit for Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio on November 13, 1993 — Connie Britton was one of the stars of the show. At first, all of our shows were for private events. Our first public show started in New York in 1995. Now we are at 6 different locations in the NY/​NJ/​CT metropolitan area and we perform for private events around the country.

Business Owner

The Killing Kompany is headed by New York actor Jon Avner. Jon starred in New York’s first murder mystery dinner show Murder On Broadway at Sardi’s Restaurant and since then has become one of the leading actors in interactive audience participation shows. On the legitimate stage, he has appeared regionally, Off-​Broadway, tours, Summer Stock and is a member of The Actors Studio. He has also appeared in many films (Quality of Mercey, Girl In The Watermelon, Dirt), televisions shows (Guiding Light, As The World Turns, USA Up All Night, FTL Newsfeed), commercials, radio and print and his voice can be heard in many animes such as Darkside Blues and Berserk to name a few. He currently stars as the voice of General Di Ravello in the video game Just Cause 3. As an award winning writer, Jon is also a member of The Dramatists Guild.
