HydroClean Express Car Wash

Used to use Hyrdoclean whenever I needed a car wash. And the fact that their vacuums were free was great whenever I’ve had get the inside of my car vacuumed out.
Two weeks ago I was there to do just that and was told that I couldn’t use the towels because those are for customers that have already paid for a carwash… Nevermind that I’ve done just that on numerous occasions.
Today I was vacuuming out my wife’s car. A guy approached me and said «so what kind of wash are you going to get today?» I told him that I wasn’t and he replied by saying that he was going to have to ask me to leave. I told him that I will and that I just won’t use Hydroclean again. He replied by saying «You’re not using it now» To which I replied that I have in the past.
I understand that that there were paying customers circling the lot looking to vacuum out their cars after getting it washed. But the attendants tone was really offputting.
Apparently, free vacuums doesn’t mean ‘hassle’ free vacuums.
I see that another car wash is being built further down on Roundgrove. Maybe I’ll give them a try when the open or just go back to Star Wash on business 121.
This experience at hydroclean was just too annoying.

I’ve been going to this carwash for 2 ½ yrs and have always had a good experience there… until today. I got there right as they opened and wanted to vacuum my van and wipe it down on the inside before getting it washed. I clean it in this order every time. As I’m wiping it down inside, an older white bald man (he says he’s the manager) comes up to me and starts telling me that the rags they provide are killing them in cost and that I need to get my van washed first before I use their rags to wipe down the inside of my vehicle. I explained to him that I always clean the inside first and then I wash last. I told him I would finish what I’m doing, using the same rag I had, (I was almost done) and then I assured him I will get it washed. He walked away and then 2 mins later came back and said I need to get my van washed before using their rags. I handed him back his rag and told him that he just lost a customer. I will never go back there.

I feel like this car wash is completely different from all the other ones I’ve been to. They provide microfiber towels for you to dry your car off with and to clean the inside. This is the first car wash I’ve come across that has done this! This is a car wash where you have to drive your car into the washing machine. A worker does a light scrub before entering in the wash. They have the basic package for $ 6 and then there’s the fire and ice car wash which is a pretty penny but I think it makes the car look amazing! The vacuums are super strong and there’s tons of trashcans. The staff was friendly and even though it was crowded the day I went everything was orchestrated quite well. I also think it’s cool how you can buy car wash packages. Will definitely stop by when I’m in the area!

It use to be so friendly. Now it is like no one wants to work there. I went last week and a young girl with short hair came to my window with a mouth full of food. Gave me a hold on sign, kept chewing her food. When she finished she asked if I wanted Fire-​N-​Ice? NO!!! I really just want to get my car washed.
They sped up the line, watered down the soap, and lost all personality there. I can not wait for the new one on Round Grove to open. They will get my business.

The best car wash ever! Only $ 6 and it includes free high power vacuum and they will provide you free towels if needed.

The washer and service is sorry… the tenant that guides you in and who’s «supposed» to brush bugs off front bumper doesn’t… The time before today’s visit the tenant half @ss brushed the driver side window, they didn’t even walk over to the passenger side of the car. I doubt that I’ll ever return… I’ll just drive an extra mile out of the way for better service.

I have been before and had a good experience — nice vacuums and rags to wipe down your car. But this time — the young man spraying my car actually hit my car with the metal nozzle of the spray brush twice! I will not be returning —

Love this place! The staff is fast and friendly, they always keep the bay’s clean, trash cans empty and the rag boxes full!

Excellent car wash! First the automatic car wash is probably one of the best i have ever been to, and I wash my car allot. I do purchase the Hydromax wash which is a $ 13 wash, it comes with all the options if you will, clear coat sealant, the pretreat the nose with some kind of solvent/​soap for bugs, there is even tire shine applied. There is a 5 day rain guarantee, I have used it one time, they ran me through the wash no hassle. I am new to TX so I have no idea exactly how much rain to expect. I did step up to the unlimited package, $ 35/​month, with this package basically you are paying $ 10/​month for clear coat sealant and tire shine, the rain guarantee doesn’t apply since it is unlimited. One note on the unlimited package, it is based on a credit card and they will auto renew unless you call the number or stop in to cancel. Not a big deal for me since I love it. I wash may car 3x/​wk on my way home from work. I do notice allot of Texas dust collecting on my black car. The vacuums are free and there is a ton of stalls, its not like some wash centers with 3 stalls and a huge wait. The vacuums are covered and there is a huge manifold with tons of hoses to use, lots of sucking power. Overall extremely satisfied. One note the unlimited package is tied to a single car, the put a barcode on the windshield corner where it meets the hood out of sight but you can’t use that package on multiple cars. Hope you have a good experience there too.

I feel like my car got a bubble bath when I took it to this car wash. The line wasn’t packed. There was staff there ready to help you choose the wash you want and when it was time to run the car through the wash… it was just mesmerizing seeing how much soap was laid on the car. Think I have found my replacement car wash when I am heading on the way to work now.

After checking out the reviews for this place and other car washes around the area, we decided to give this one a shot. We got the mid grade wash, which was $ 9. The wash was fairly standard, however their blowers at the end of the wash blow hard which led to a nearly spot free car! We stopped to vacuum the car, and they definitely suck… in a good way. We will be coming back as we were thoroughly pleased!

Free vacuums is nice and the sales guy was nice, but I paid extra something I never do because i wanted the undercarriage washed due to the salt/​chemicals used during our ice. The undercarriage sprayer never activated therefore I was robbed.

Love this place! One of the better car washes in the Lewisville and flo mo area. Price is pretty decent for what you get. Four stars because the auto tire shine that comes with the $ 13 package is inconsistent. It is added at the end of the wash line and seems to spread unevenly.
The best is the 5 day wash guarantee I have seen around. They will give you the same wash that you bought, for free, within five days of your original wash, which is unlike other car washes with a rain guarantee as they usually only give you the basic package for free and have to pay extra to get back to the same package you originally bought.
Wash usually gets the car pretty clean. I love the free vacuums with the wide bays. I never go when it is busy so not sure how backed up it gets. They provide damp towels in the vacuum area so you can wipe down the car. It seems like there is some sort of cleaning substance on the towels but not certain.
Overall my go to car wash.

One of my fav car washes. Have to detail yourself. Super cheap. But 5 day rain guarantee for the $ 13 wash. Definitely my favorite place to ensure my car is fresh.

This place is awesome! We pay a monthly fee for two cars and you can go as often as you want during the month! this is going to be awesome when the nasty winter weather comes. They are open early and close by 7pm. It’s nice and clean! We have used this quite often during the last year. It’s great to have such a nice car wash so close to home!!!

I just moved here from San Diego and I’ve been searching all over town for a good reasonable inexpensive car wash, and I’ve finally found it. The highest wash goes for $ 13.00 which is reasonable. I’ve been to other car washes around town and they’re more expensive and offer less. The vacuums were the best I’ve seen and I love the damp towles they have for free of use. I also appreciate the free wash they offer you if the first wash isn’t good enough. The only addition I wish this place offered are free air freshners.
Above all, a great place to wash your car and I highly recommend it!

Solid option. There are less expensive options but the wash is always solid, drys well. I like the freely available drying towels to touch up. They have no issue if your wash is not perfect and you want to run it through again — only had to do this one time.

This place makes me enjoy washing the car. All I do is use their vacuums and their damp cloths to make it look great!

Has changed ownership since opening and with that they have raised the prices a few times. Several different pricing options plenty vacuum stations and they «suck» which is a good thing. Towels are provided to dry off after the remaining water drops.
Seems to clean the car pretty well.
They sell monthly packages for unlimited washes if your in the area often.
Hope they do not keep raising prices.
