Excellent service and prices. I called four different places in Lexington and Auto Excel had the best price. When I arrived, they were very pleasant. The waiting room is very nice, with comfortable chairs, free wifi, and a Keurig machine. There is a TV, but I’m glad it was turned off for the most part (I brought work with me to do).
As I was waiting, I got a text that provided me with the diagnostics of my vehicle (which was included in the oil change I came in for). BEST thing I’ve ever seen. They included pictures of my battery, from the computer diagnostics systems, my tires, and my air filters. I usually buy/​replace air filters myself, and they did not pressure me to go with them (It’s so much cheaper if you do it yourself). I needed my tires replaced (which I knew coming in) and they agreed to match the lower price I found on the Tire Discount website.
Plus, there was $ 10 off my total cost just for «checking in» on social media.
Very nice people working here and I’d recommend to anyone. GO HERE!

Such a positive experience! Only needed a routine oil change, but this will be my #1 choice for the future! I appreciate that they use technology to send text confirmation & reminders of my appointment! I arrived before they opened, but the staff were prepared & ready to get me started! I enjoyed waiting in their lounge-​it was fresh, (looks very modern with hard wood floors, large flat screen TV, & a Keurig coffee bar & free wifi)! I was very impressed & comfortable!

I’ve been here a couple of times to have work done on my car. Each time, they have sent me text messages to give me updates, appointment reminders, and a link to the report that lets me know what they found during their assessment.
The guys here are friendly and take good care of you. The waiting room is comfy and offers coffee and water if you’re thirsty. There’s even free wifi if you want to connect.
A nice thing about this place is that they give you recommendations that work within your budget, and they don’t try to pressure you into anything. They even offer a shuttle service to pick you up or drop you off. Once the repairs are complete, they guarantee the work for 3 years or 36K miles. And they give you roadside assistance in case anything goes awry.
Check them out. You’ll be glad you did.

Auto Excel has been my go-​to for service and repairs for 4+ years. They are professional, competitively priced, and back all their work with a nation-​wide, 3 year/36,000 mile parts AND labor warranty. They understand the inconvenience of having a car in the shop and make it as painless and accommodating as possible.

I don’t think there is such a thing as a positive experience when dealing with a broken car and a repair shop. It’s almost always going to be a costly inconvenience. That being said, these guys did great. My problem was diagnosed quickly, they gave me several repair options and didn’t pressure or guilt me into the most expensive one or try to sell me anything I didn’t need. The work was done in the time quoted and without any hidden expenses.
I hope to never need their services again, but if I do I’ll gladly go back.

Ripoff! I took my blazer there to find out what was wrong with it and they called me a few hours later telling me it would cost $ 6000 to fix my ride and a minimum $ 3200 to get it back on the road (I drove it there). They, of course had financing options. I told them i would just come and pick it up. $ 137.50 is what they charged just for looking at it. Nice guys who charge triple for everything. I will never go there again.

These guys are good, honest, and reasonably priced. They are always nice and give me the price up front. I take my Honda there for all my maintenance and repair. It’s kinda hard to find, tucked away behind Nickville Rd., but worth it.

What a ripoff!!! I did have them arrange to have my vehicle towed in. They seemed nice enough until I got the bill. The towing charge was a promised at $ 65.00. That was fair. That is where the fairness stopped.
Prior to going into the shop, I priced out a serpentine belt for my 97 Chrysler Town and Country Minivan. Auto Zone had their top of the line belt for $ 39.99 with a 3 year warranty. I also priced out a tension pulley assembly. It was $ 42.00.
It is remarkable that my diagnosis of my problem was exactly what they said was wrong with it after they did their $ 95.00 diagnostic evaluation. They also found that the alternator was in need of tightening.
They quoted me a price of over $ 400.00 to replace the $ 42.00 part and put on a belt.
I told them to put the belt on and let me drive it home. Their charge for the belt alone was over $ 82.00. The bill came out including the towing charge in the amount of $ 205.00. Just to replace the belt.
When I got home, I purchased the pulley assembly and went to my local garage. They charged me the flat rate charge of ¾ hour of labor (total labor $ 45.00) to put on the pulley assembly and the belt. The total paid for pulley and belt was less than $ 90.00 not $ 400.00. BEWARE!!!

As far as auto repair shops go… this is one of the best I’ve been to. They are a relatively small shop, but they know their business. If you have been considering taking your car to a dealer for service because you think you want it done right the first time… think again and give these guys a shot… and you’ll save yourself some money as well!
