Update 3⁄2016 I went here again, because I had yet another Groupon and my experience was a lot better so I upped it a star. I ordered the salmon risotto which was overcooked and the risotto was mushy in whatever that sauce it came with. My friend ordered the lasagna roll ups and that was actually pretty good. We also had the crab dip appetizer and it wasn’t anything special, I’d never order it again. Overall, if it wasn’t for the Groupon I won’t be returning. The place is always super empty which makes you question the food. And then the food is disappointing which makes you question the cook. So basically, this is the last time I’ll be coming to this place. Came here for lunch with my friend due to a Groupon I had purchased. I ordered the NY strip steak to be medium rare, and she had crab cakes for appetizer and then ordered the roasted chicken salad with champagne vinaigrette. I was pleased with my food until I realized my steak was overdone. Although, I was offered another steak, the food took so long to come out that I didn’t want to sit around and wait. It took about 20 – 30 minutes or so for our main entrees. My friends’ crab cakes tasted more like a canned tuna fried to be what is supposed to be crab. The dressing for them was very delicious, but the crab cakes need more flavor and fresh crab meat to give it the right crab flavor. I posted a steak wellness guide just in case the chef needed a reminder on how to make the steaks per customers request. My friends’ salad was probably the most bland tasting salad I’ve ever had, it literally had no seasoning and although the champagne vinaigrette tasted good, it didn’t mesh well with all the different ingredients in the salad. I’d recommend a grilled chicken option versus roasted since it lacked flavor. Other than the food being sub par, the service from our waitress, jasmine was excellent. She was quick to bring our food and always asked us if we needed anything. The ambience in this place was very depressing simply because it was empty, cold, with no upbeat music. They did have music but it wasn’t loud enough to head it clearly or to be able to enjoy.

I ate here owing to a nice Groupon opportunity. The menu offerings and quality of food were standard fare. I wouldn’t be opposed to eating here in the future as the guest of someone whose company I really enjoy, however its location and price structure are not inviting to someone in my situation. I can see, however, how those two factors would not be of concern to a business traveler who was staying at the Hilton Inn. Under those circumstances, I’d gladly offer my recommendation, particularly if the weather is bad and you don’t feel like getting out in it. I and my dinner partner ate about 5:30PM. Chukker’s was so empty, I had to flag down the one employee in the area to confirm they were actually open for business. During our meal(until 6:45), staffing remained at one person, our server. She explained that the delay in bringing our appetizers was due to having to prepare them herself, so staffing in the kitchen apparently was sparse as well. Perhaps Monday evenings are not the time to find a crowd, but if they’re staffed appropriately, you might have fantastic service.

Our service was Amazing! The waitress, jasmine took great care of us. The food on the other hand was a bit pricy for a bland salad. I had crab cakes for an appetizer that tasted like Tuna from a can along with a roasted chicken salad that was very very bland. I Don’t think I will be returning. If it hadn’t been for groupon I may have never came to this place. Overall, it was pleasant dining experience just wish the food tasted better.
