History
Established in 1968.
Climate Control was formed in 1968, by Carl Fugmann, and operated with his son, Chris, until 2013 when the company was acquired by Dan Detmer. Dan’s background is very similar to that of the Fugmann’s, as they were born into a HVAC company and have more than 30 years of experience, both on the distribution side and as a dealer. While Chris still works for Climate Control in the sales department, the Fugmann principles are aligned with Dan’s, which have always been and are to provide the best heating & air conditioning service at a fair and reasonable price.

I am the Director of Sales & Marketing at Climate Control Heating & Air Conditioning in Lexington, Kentucky. I have been in the industry since graduating college. I enjoy every single opportunity I get to help improve the quality of life for customers in regards to the home comfort and indoor air quality.
