You can tell it’s old, but remodeled. 4 stars instead of 5 for not remodeling better(ceiling, walls, closet doors, all could have been updated… sorry, I’m picky). Customer service was outstanding. Nice location, easy to reach the highway. A bit of a drive from the horse park but not bad because it is all highway.

Worst night’s sleep… ever. First off, when you arrive, there is a sign that announces that if you use a debit card, you will be have an amount more than your stay placed on the card, which is fine. The problem is, it won’t drop off for 7 – 10 days. Seriously? I stayed at a Hyatt Place 3 weeks ago in Nashville and the overage dropped off 2 days after my stay. I’m writing this at 430 in the morning. Every part of my body HURTS from this uncomfortable bed. I’m also snotted up from the pillow(I’m assuming feather) and the only blanket is the comforter, which reeks of body sweat(thankfully now that I’m snotted up by the pillow, I don’t have to smell the comforter.) The walls are thin. I’ve heard the guy above us go to the bathroom at least three times and we listened to people yell at each other in the hallway before we fell asleep. Pretty sure there is no breakfast either. Next year when my daughter competes in the Thoroughbred Invitational, we will be sure to stay at the Hyatt Place. Added at 5AM, special thanks to the hotel employee having a phone conversation while slipping the bill under our door. Sorry to hear about your«lack of sleep» issues. Seems to be going around lately. :/

Home of the worlds slowest wi-fi — I’m pretty sure I had it better with AOL dial-up back in the 90’s. As Cathy said — this is a very average hotel. The remodeled décor reminds me of a Japanese McDonalds with its red and yellow walls. The bed is a little hard as well. I think I’m going back to the Hyatt Place down the street after this visit — in an area with quite a few hotels to choose from, this one is gonna have to do more than the incredibly long remodel job it’s been undergoing for awhile now to get me to come back.

The beds, like another reviewer said, are crazy comfortable. Not a bad hotel. Not the best either. Just extraordinarily okay.

Just an average hotel. I chose this location for a short weekend getaway because it was convenient to shopping and dining, and it has rooms with hot tubs. It was very convenient; in fact we ate directly across the street at Harry’s(see separate review), which is actually three restaurants in one location. The hot tub was in the room rather than the bathroom, so that was nice. Tub was quite dusty, though, so it had not been cleaned recently. All in all, an ok experience.

Wonderful beds & pillows. Forget all the other great things about this place. You could sleep soundlessly for a week in these ungodly comfortable beds! You can also close the drapes completely which makes it pitch black night during the day if you need to mope for any reason… lol. They actually sell the brand of beds & pillows they use on their website. I happened to have 2 full-size beds due to some efficient planning and got 8 pillows &2 blankets! This is a major factor in why I did not get more Lexington exploration accomplished. So enough about those, the service is great! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Their complimentary continental buffet breakfast is to die for! I swore I wouldn’t keep getting those damn waffles every morning but the breakfast girl was consistently waiting to cook one for me! The eggs, potatoes, bacon, coffee, etc was all very fresh & hot. I actually took my food up to my room and chilled a few mornings in a row. Given that I was booked under a platinum account they let me stay much longer than i was supposed to. I’m a dumb-ass and forgot my check-out time but they were completely nice about it and allowed me around 3 hours extra to pack & shower before the flight back! Great service, great people. The only thing that wasn’t great was the view… of Ethan Allen. That’s about all you could see from my balcony. They are a non-smoking facility except for a designated pavilion outside. The hotel was very clean and well– kept too.
