I have only been here twice. Once with a friend to check out the hibachi grill(we were not disappointed), and another time with family for fired rice and appetizers. My first visit was really great, but will chalk up my disappointment the second time around due to my insistence we try to Octopus Hushpuppies. The flavor of this appetizer was fine, but upon seeing the small tentacles and suckers inside of the ‘hush puppy’, my appetite was ruined. I would definitely recommend the hibachi grill, which was very good. Three stars for effort and large portions.

Terrible service! No one greeted us. Server acted like he was in a hurry and kept walking away before we could ask, comment or answer his question. Tofu wasn’t the correct dish we ordered. Sushi rice was gross.

Not the best Hibachi in Lexington by a long shot. The chef was a lot of fun but the food was not at all impressive. Maybe my standards are set too high but the place felt dirty and poorly maintained. Just not a place I would recommend.

Had a great first-sushi experience here last Friday. I don’t think I tried anything that wasn’t delicious, though my favorite sushi dish was the Spider Roll. The presentation was awesome, especially the way they arranged the Dragon Roll. Most of all, the service was great: fast and incredibly friendly. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. I would definitely eat here again!

Stopped here for lunch today and had an excellent meal. We had the Hibachi Dinners(chicken & shrimp). Soup and salads were very good; service was friendly. Everything was prepared perfectly & the whole family enjoyed the venue & the meal. They even brought out a California roll & a few French fries for our 3-year old, who was hungry & getting grumpy waiting for the Hibachi chef to get to our table. Prices were very reasonable for the quantity & quality of food served. We will definitely return. They currently need more chef staff, so be patient(it’s worth the wait!)

Food was great and the woman that served us was from Thailand. She was very polite and very talented. Brought my Godson and he is very picky and ate every bit of his food, we will be back for sure! Very pleased, the chicken was cooked to perfection, the vegetables were very fresh and the show was awesome! We will be back very soon!

Located conveniently in a strip mall behind super Walmart & close to the Fayette Mall, Domo is under new ownership. Apparently the previous owner sold a bunch of ½ off coupon deals before selling the business; took the money, and stuck the new owners with fulfilling these deals! Regardless my visit to this restaurant with a fellow Unilocaler was a pleasant experience. Greeted warmly upon entering, guests were directed either to the sushi area or to the hibachi room. The rooms are large, nicely lite, with several flatscreens on the wall. The sushi menu has sufficient choices with many creations named proudly after the local area. The dinner was served with a salad topped with a unique tasty dressing and a small bowl of soup. My selection was the Dragon Roll. Unlike the typical dull linear presentation of other sushi places and much to my delight, it arrived artfully presented looking just like a dragon. It came with a rolling body and complete with eyes and tail. The visual impact and the wonderful mix of flavors truly made this dish a work of art! The dinner was then completed with a bountiful plate of chicken fried rice. Overall a very impressionable first visit and leaves me hungry and curious to try the other offerings on their menu.

The good, food and customer service, the bad, wait time, the interior, bland and empty. The good: The hibachi cook is great, very funny and experienced, he puts on a great show, even if I have seen that same show at any other hibachi place, he does put his own spin on it. Considering he was the only chef there he still took his time and was attentive to us and mostly unscripted. The bad: service took time because of only one chef, however they made up for it for chomping some veggie tempura and apologizing profusely. The interior: Kind of like a cheap Japanese house. While avoiding to be cheesy, places like PF Changs and iChing seem more authentic. Food wise, I would recommend this place any day. For a full great dining experience, choose another location.

Went to the sushi bar on Friday and ordered from the«Kitchen» menu. Tuna roll was ok, but nothing special. Had to ask for the sauce that goes with tempura, and received a tiny bowl of cold sauce, and yhe tempura batter was quite heavy. The California roll in the Bento box was inedible. Do not recommend this restaurant.

15% student discount with your ID. The Hibachi Chef was very entertaining and the food was delicious. I got the filet mignon which came in a large portion and was tender and cooked to my liking. I’d recommend checking it out. Perfect for a date night or special occasion.

Very good service here but average food in my opinion. My boyfriend and I ordered 5 sushi rolls, fried calamari, and some kind of squid salad. We also had green tea ice cream. The funny thing is that the ice cream was the best part. They also brought out a complimentary appetizer(very small) of some Krab and cucumber salad. And a complimentary fried Oreo when we asked for the dessert menu. So that was nice and unexpected. The food was presented nicely, it just didn’t stand out as far as taste goes. And we ordered«crab» sushi roll which was Krab, had we known we wouldn’t have ordered it. The spicy tuna roll was my favorite of the sushi we had.
