Mr. Butler is the Firm’s founding partner and has been a member of the Kentucky Bar Association for over 40 years. Born in Madisonville, Kentucky, he is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.

He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in 1965 and earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1971. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Blanton Collier Sportsmanship Group and is an author of Christian-​themed historic fiction, including The Success Equation and The Gate Beautiful.
