Amazing experience! Keely was my stylist and did a fantastic job making sure I was completely satisfied. I was in the chair within 5 minutes of walking in and offered coffee, tea or water. Keely was very through in asking me about my hair type my usual routine in caring for it. When cutting it she explained all the products she used and why (wasn’t at all pushy about me buying, but I did anyway). She was friendly, and very patient while styling my super curly hair. I also got a complimentary aromatherapy and a massage. The entire process was extremely professional, the facilities were clean, and the staff were friendly. So happy to finally find a place I love at a price I can afford.

Like a lot of aveda salons, All of the staff here are sweet and helpful, I did my wedding hair and makeup plus a trial. Anna S was my stylist and I can’t even begin to say how awesome she was! So sweet, funny, energetic and did an amazing job! Highly recommend! Tip: you cannot tip with your card so bring cash.

Always leave here feeling pampered and appreciated! Great staff and wonderful salon! Everyone is very talented and is knowledgable about the products!

I recently moved to Lexington from Hawaii, and was nervous about finding a new hair stylist. I have long, highlighted hair that I only trust a few people with. I found Joli Salon through a Google search for an Aveda salon, and was impressed by all of the positive reviews.
To be honest, I don’t even want to share the name of my stylist because she was SO GOOD and I don’t want her to be booked when I make my next appointment with her! But seriously, Jill was incredible from beginning to end. She spent time understanding how I wanted my color to look, checked out a few pictures I brought in, and then she was off to create the perfect color formula for my hair. She was sweet, so easy to talk to, and provided an all around amazing, relaxing experience. I will be back to see Jill soon!

Quite by fate, I found this quaint but lovely salon and spa and fell into the hands of darling young Keeley. She has become my favorite monthly meeting. Even the simple haircut offers you more than any other salon in Lexington (trust your girl on this — I’ve had some hurr DID up in this town!). The soothing smell of lavender and clary sage when you walk through the door immediately relaxes you and if you’re lucky enough that your stylist is running behind, you’ll probably be offered a hand massage. Keeley continues to check my comfort level throughout my visit, offering drinks, etc. She gives a scalp massage and neck massage at cutting time and scalp massage at wash time. There are no forced products to buy, and Aveda is their preferred product.

Went here simply because it was an Aveda salon and my mother has trained me to be an Aveda snob. But I will be coming back here because of the outstanding service and the wonderful staff.
My stylist was Jill who was very nice and who cut and styled my hair pretty much exactly how I wanted it done. The ladies at the front were equally friendly and helpful. The whole experience was awesome and I will definitely be back.

I went to Joli for the first time last September and found that you are treated like a Goddess there! It’s an AVEDA salon, so it automatically smells like Eucalyptus and spa-​like smells. They give you tea or coffee to drink while you wait and I also got offered a back massage! The scalp and hand massage is also a nice bonus! I liked my hair cut and will definitely go back again. On top of all this pampering, I found that the prices are VERY reasonable, especially for the Lexington area. Will definitely be making another appointment there!

I went to Joli for the first time today for a haircut. WOW! The service was impeccable and the staff was unbelievably knowledgeable and friendly. I love the fact that they are an Aveda salon and use their products on clients. I had my haircut by Jill, she was AWESOME! I absolutely LOVED my experience at this salon. To start off my stylists schedule was running a little behind which was no problem for me, but the certified massage therapist offered me a complimentary message while I waited which was fantastic. When I sat down to get my hair cut my stylist was thorough in our consultation and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted for my cut and did an excellent job! I’m a student at UK and have a hairstylist in the family at home in pennsylvania so going to a salon to get my hair cut was semi-​terrifying but I will without a doubt return to Joli Salon whenever I need a hair cut at school again. This is an excellent 5 star salon and is relatively inexpensive for how phenomenal their services are! I would definitely recommend!!!

I had my hair done three times. The first time was overpriced and not what I wanted. The second fine was to correct the first. My hair turned purple. I requested a new stylist and they charged me again. $ 300 I had an okay hair color… but definitely not what I wanted.

Bought a gift card for my girlfriend a while back and she attempted to use it recently and was told it expired and they refused to let her use it. How the hell does money expire?!? I will never use or recommend this place again. What a joke. You guys need some help with customer service!

Massage was decent. I was hopeful it would be amazing as the therapist took her time to ask lots of questions about what I liked, but then in the therapy room didn’t really perform. I kept waiting for the moment it felt complete and it was almost happening at end for the head and face massage and bam! Over. But the more disappointing factor for this place is that it is beautiful and looks promising, but the girl checking me out had such uninformed, going through the motions attitude especially about their services. If I didn’t have a gift card to use I wouldn’t be returning. Aveda concept salons seem to over promise on their service descriptions. It’s such a bummer. I’ll update this review after my next visit to see if anything has changed.

Had never been to Joli before, but my regular stylist was sick … and I’m so glad I went! Kate cut my hair, and it’s the first time I’ve been happy with my hair for quite a while. Everyone was over-​the-​top nice, and with the added «extras» they offer, I will definitely be back!

Good for Joli for turning their business around in this new location. I had been to the previous one once, but was so dissatisfied with my experience that I vowed to never return. Once the new location opened, my mom recommended I go since its right near her house and she had been several times without incident (my mom has very high standards when it comes to hair salons, and will only step in Aveda establishments). I have been twice and am pleased with the service I have received. My first appointment I was early and the stylist wasn’t quite ready, so I was offered a complimentary neck massage and beverage while I waited. Win. My second appointment I also had my eyebrows waxed by the stylist and she did great. I like that they take you to the regular waxing table, instead of just doing them at the sink like some salons. The wash chairs are very comfortable, and I think it’s really great that each station has a sheet that lets you know what 6, 8, and 12 weeks are from that day so that you can get an idea of when your next appointment will be if you go that often. I also have not had any issues booking appointments and am able to get in that day or the next day. I definitely recommend Joli over the other Aveda salons in Lexington.

The best Aveda spa in Lexington! Every staff member at Joli is professional and friendly. Great atmosphere! And I highly recommend Amy for a massage.
