Kentucky Center For Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

I would not recommend this practice for several reasons. The office itself is in the basement of a building on Larkin Rd and first impression is a very, very old surgical center from 1940. It just didn’t have that clean surgical feel you think about.
We were referred to this oral surgeon group by our general dentist and were told the initial consultation was free. The initial consultation consisted of the oral surgeon telling us my child’s wisdom teeth needed to be removed (which we already knew that’s why we came), and to tell us how much it would cost. Two weeks later we receive a bill for the «oral exam» yes, an oral exam in which the surgeon never looked in my child’s mouth! This is simply a money grab and ethically wrong in my opinion. If they try and stick it to you on the consultation… where else would they add extra fees? There are other good oral surgeons in Lexington, pass on this group.
