This is my neighborhood Kroger, so I typically shop here. It’s in a convenient location, has a pharmacy, offers a few non-food items since their renovation, and is open 24 hours so I like shopping at this location. The store is clean and the staff friendly each time I go in. During late hours, you’ll run into the stocking crew and palates/boxes everywhere, but it’s not a big deal to get what you need. The layout since the renovation can be a bit discombobulating since I’m used to how it was set up previously, but I’m getting used to it… slowly. The meat department and deli always have fresh goods to offer. I also like the produce section here as the fruit and veggies are fresh and free from bugs(unlike some other stores I have been to). I also like that this location has a nice selection of beer inside the store, and a wine and spirits shop attached to the pharmacy-side of the building. Remember to use your Kroger Plus Card to save on items, and load your digital coupons to your card to save extra money!

I don’t understand why people rave about this store. Its always busy and parking is a nightmare. Prices seem high and there is nothing spectacular that draws me in. I would just as rather go to the Walmart Marketplace or Aldis and get a lot friendlier service and usually better produce.

The remodel was all well and good, but it’s still not enough to entice me to shop there, even though it’s my neighborhood Kroger. It’s too warehouse-ish, and most things that are part of my pantry are too expensive there. I’m a Trader Joe/s/Aldi girl. The only time I go to Kroger is if I need a single item, like my coffee of choice. One good thing — there’s now a liquor marketplace adjacent to the store. So TC Kroger is OK in a pinch, but not my go-to grocery store.

Even tho its not the closest Kroger to me it’s the only one I’ll shop at. The meat department guys are really knowledgeable and have a great selection. The filets are amazing! The rest of the store is always stocked and the staff are always fairly friendly.

I shop at this location regularly due to proximity to my house and it is better since the remodel, but I still have a few frustrations with it: 1. Their produce is VERY hit or miss with regard to it being in stock and fresh. 2. A few months ago, they started advertising new, lower prices, and some items did decrease in price(especially produce), but they significantly raised others(especially fresh meat), so overall, it didn’t get less expensive. 3. I have a young child and often go through 3 – 4 carts before finding one with functional child safety straps. All but one of their carts with the ride-in car on the front(which my child LOVES) either have broken straps or messed up wheels. It has been this way for at least 4 months with no repairs made. There are a few things I like about this store as well: the sale prices of their produce are usually good, their dairy section is consistently fresh, and there is rarely a wait to check out. Due to geographic location, I’ll probably continue to shop here, but there are definitely better locations(especially the one at Richmond Rd and Man O’War).

Learning a store after a remodel blows. Simple as that. However, this remodel was well worth it. The store feels open and well laid out. The deli staff are wonderful with excellent cheese«chefs». They will let you taste what you are looking at purchasing, a very nice touch that results in me purchasing a lot of cheese. They have included a nice little table and chairs area to sit and eat in an alcove behind the drink fountains. Also very clean, bright restrooms located down the hall from this.

I’ve been frequenting this Kroger more often since the remodel. I love the tastings on Saturdays. I try to only shop when they have good sales. They often run 1.99 pork tenderloin. We paid 10.00 for a big loin and have the meat dept cut it up. We ended up with about 14 inch or so thick cuts. Not a bad deal. If they weren’t so high on everything else I would probably by more stuff there.

Can I just say I love this newly renovated Kroger! I go out of my way to shop here. It’s still pricey but I love the managers specials. In the woman’s bathroom they have added a child’s seat so you don’t have to finagle your child on your lap while you use the bathroom. Genius! The added wine shop is a plus.

Still not real happy with this renovated Kroger, but since it is the closest to my house, I shop here by default. I use reusable bags frequently and don’t always have time to deal with the achingly slow self checkouts. Baggers at this Kroger usually seem unable to understand the concept of reusable bags and their ability to handle 3−4x the weight in groceries of plastic. The wine & spirit shop is nice. I appreciate not having to go to Rite Aid or CVS for adult beverages now. The layout of the store still seems a bit wonky to me. Even after being in there dozens of times now, I still occasionally find it difficult to find a product. As others have mentioned, parking can be frustrating, particularly after 5pm.

Wow this is what I have been waiting for! A wonderful neighborhood variety. This is the perfect party prep place ! They have an absolutely great selection of bourbon they also have top end wines and middle of the road priced selections. The beer is cold and frosty come on down and try them out! On another note they have wine tastings on Friday from 4 to 7

Love this renovated Kroger particularly since they added the wine shop. Have been shopping here forever and would like just one more thing… A Starbucks!!! Would make it perfect.

Now that the construction is finally over, this Kroger is great. During the construction it was less than pleasing to have to search thirty minutes for an item that had been continuously moved around. However, I do have to say it was worth the wait. I love the self checkout at both ends of the store, and the new layout makes more sense to me. They have a growing amount of organic options as well. The only thing I absolutely hate is the parking, it seems to be a nightmare no matter what day of the week.

Great selection and service. The florist department put together an arrangement for my girlfriend that was nicer than any arrangements much more expensive florists put together. This is one of the nicest Kroger’s I have been to.

My brother lives around the corner from this Kroger and he loves it. I came here a bunch of times when visiting him and this place seems to have everything under the sun for a chain market. What I dig about this Kroger is that they have local products which most chains often don’t carry and that’s pretty cool. I bought a million pounds worth of smoked pork products made locally for like $ 30. Good prices here, if I lived in the area this would be my go-to market.

this is my favorite krogers in lexington. my grandma used to be the bakery manager so i have good memories of her greeting me with a cookie. :) krogers manager’s specials are the best. you can get $ 25 veggie trays for $ 1.99, blocks of cheese cubes for 99 cents, chocolate soy pudding for $ 1.49. great deals if you look for the orange stickers.
