I am a Podiatric Surgeon at Lexington Podiatry; we are a full service podiatry office & PEDspa serving all age groups. We address everything from flat feet in children to comprehensive diabetic foot and wound care in adults to heel pain and much, much more. We employ the latest advances in podiatry, surgery and biomechanics in the treatment of all conditions of the foot and ankle.

History

Established in 2009.

Lexington Podiatry moved from their Fountain Court address to their new spacious, spa-​like office in June 2013. Around that same time, Dr. Freels added an FDA approved laser for fungal toenail therapy; one of the first of it’s kind in the state. At the end of August 2013, the practice opened Lexington PEDspa and began to perform healthy pedicures and pedisage in their spa suite located inside Lexington Podiatry.

After attending podiatry school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Ellsworth completed a comprehensive three-​year foot and ankle surgical residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He has training in both foot and ankle surgery with a special interest in the diabetic foot, including wound care and limb salvage. He likes to focus on conservative treatment first, but is able to perform surgical correction of a wide range of conditions if needed.
