Phở BC is authentic and always delicious. My favorite dishes are the spring rolls, and the small sized beef and flank Phở. They give you a huge pile of sprouts and basil to add in, and if you order hot tea it comes in a little cast iron tea pot. So cute. Reasonably priced and I always have leftovers!

I sure do love me some Phở. This place offers is Phonominal. There is nothing like PHO on a cold day if you ask me. The day that I stopped in here with a friend it was cold and raining. Perfect PHO weather. For those of you unfamiliar with Phở, Wikipedia defines it as: Ph or phở[1](pronounced variously as /f/, /f/, /fr/, or /fo/;[2] Vietnamese: [f](listen)) is a Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of broth, linguine-shaped rice noodles called bánh ph, a few herbs, and meat, primarily served with either beef or chicken. They are located off kind of across the Nicholasville Road at an angle from Trader Joes. There are in a little plaza behind the 5th3rd Bank that sits there. The inside is kind of cozy and inviting. It is just plain and simple, nothing too fancy. The staff are helpful and eager to explain what the dishes are for the new comers. If you ask me, anything with PHO in the name is perfect. Just try it. I am sure you will love it. Also something I have learned, the small bowls on the side are for your sauces for dipping your meats/veggies. That way you don’t ruin the taste of the PHO with your sauce. One also note, there are a few other PHO places here in Lexington. This ones broth is a bit on the sweet side. Also before you go, you must get an Avocado Smoothie with boba. YUM

I love this place! I have celiac and I eat gluten free here safely, all the time. The staff is knowledgable. The phở soup with brisket is amazing! As is the rice noodles!

This was a last minute audible that I called because the plans we’d made elsewhere didn’t work out. I’m honestly kinda glad they didn’t because this was better than I was expecting the other place to be! The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the ‘80s smooth jazz really added to the aesthetic. I got the chicken and egg roll rice noodles and salad rolls with shrimp per suggestions on here, and my girlfriend got fried egg noodles with pork. All recommended!

My boyfriend and I came to this place again to try their Spicy beef noodles(Bun bo Hue). It was surprisingly hot and spicy which was so good for us since we are a fan of spicy food. The broth was ok, but it neeed extra flavors such as lemongrass. It had vietnamese pork sausage in. The sausage itself was good, but it didny go muvh well with the soup The phở here is not as good as Phở Saigon. However you will have plenty of meat in your bowl

I have eaten Phở from East to West US and have to give 3 stars BC… pun intended… I honestly have had better. But, it’s still really good. So don’t let my opinion keep you from trying this place. It truly has a homey feel to it and all the slurping is proof that it’s good. I will make it my regular Phở home.

First time trying Vietnamese in Lexington and I was not disappointed. Great service and delicious food. I wanted to drink out of the bowl as to not loose a drop of the broth. I had the small sized chicken phở and my boyfriend had the large sized steak and tendon. Both were delicious! We also got a small pot of green tea that was great and plenty for the two of us. Our total ended up right at 20.07. Affordable and delicious! I will definitely be a regular at this place.

Finding a decent Vietnamese restaurant in KY is kinda hard. Phở BC is a small & cozy place but all the dishes(i.e. phở, grilled chicken/egg rolls vermicelli, etc.) I had tried so far were very tasty.

Probably the only phở place that doesn’t use insane amounts of msg in their broth, which is awesome because I always have a terrible reaction to msg. Service could be better, two or three times now I’ve had questions the servers just plain old can’t answer, which isn’t entirely crazy of a concept being that phở is a fairly complicated art form to master. The steak and meatball phở is awesome, and the vegetarian phở had a surprisingly satisfying broth.

Simple and tasty. This no frills place serves up some great tasting phở. The soup is not phenomenal, but it has enough flavor. The noodles are standard and the meat is a decent portion. Their small bowls are pretty filling. They have a few drinks you’d find in any typical Vietnamese restaurant though I haven’t had a chance to try any except for the bubble teas. You seat yourself when you walk in and you pay at the register when you’re ready(cash only for purchases less than $ 10). The service is pretty good. Overall, the atmosphere is quite relaxing and perfect when you want a bowl of warm soup and noodles during the chilly weather.

So far Phở’s chicken noodle soup was fresh and has a nice flavor and you get plenty for your money. The pot stickers and egg rolls were fresh and taste good. Clean and nice service. Going to check it out again. Next is the noodle bowls with meat. Looked pretty yummy.

Not bad at all, perhaps a little bit underrated by other Unilocal reviews. The phở noodle soup is ok, served with generous portions of meat and vegetables and a decent broth – it won’t blow your mind, but won’t make you mad either. Chef seems to have a liberal hand with MSG, which I don’t mind. The chef specialities are much better. I recommend the banh xeo, which are crispy savory mungbean crepes with bean sprouts and shrimp; and the banh cuon, steamed rice noodles rolled with ground pork and herbs. Prices are comparable to other Lexington phở joints, but a bit high for the national average. In Lexington, Phở BC is my preference for Vietnamese food.

Good tasting food. The service is always good. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. I always enjoy the soup. The grilled pork chop is also very good. If you are on this side of town you can’t go wrong with stopping in for lunch or dinner.

The best! Phở broth ever their blending of the spice used us just awesome! Everything is fresh and delicious! They are the only place I know of in town to serve a betelnut leaf dish that has beef and pork and lemongrass and is grilled. This is a Must! Try dish. One of my all time favs is the combo spring roll this is light yet filling too.

The spicy beef phở is ok. The soup is a little salty and the beef is fine. I ordered Vietnamese special pancake to go, and I tried the pancake before I leave. Actually the pancake is better than I expected. It is not salty and very crispy. I have no clue why they serve pancake with fresh veggie, so I decided not to take them… I’ve tried 3 Phở places in LEX and the ranking is: 1. Phở Saigon 2. Phở BC3. Pete Woh.

This was my first Phở experience. After a fellow Elite recommended it months ago, I attempted to stop in on a Tuesday and they were closed. Months later, we went here on a Saturday night. I ordered E1, it’s a stir fried noodle dish and I ordered the vegetable option. The waitress recommended it because I hadn’t yet experienced Phở. It was piping hot and just right for my taste buds and it was reasonably priced at $ 8.95. The place is a little small and our table was right next to the register, where a big group with no common courtesy gathered around to pay for their meals. This is no fault to the restaurant, just an observation. The next time that I go, I’ll sit away from the register area.

Lexington, Kentucky, you have great phở! What a pleasant surprise! I walked in and it appeared to be a typical phở restaurant until I saw the menu. No Vietnamese on it. There was a little bit here and there, but the majority was in English. First time I’ve seen seen one like that. The girl that helped us was young and not Vietnamese. I told her what I wanted in Vietnamese and she knew so she’s heard the lingo before. The spring rolls came out. Good balance of ingredients and the sauce had a spicy kick to it. I like. The phở came out and it was delicious! The broth was very authentic and just all around yummy! My husband agreed. Their portions are great. Not too small like other places. This city has really impressed me so far with their food. I want to go back and try some more.
