Planet Fitness – Lexington

I had 2 memberships; myself and my wife. I cancelled hers, yet they continued to deduct hers from my acct for 6 more months! I spoke to the manager numerous times and finally had to cancel my own and close my checking acct to stop the charges. It’s a great facility until u attempt to cancel.

I sometimes visit this chain of gyms when traveling and this location is definitely the best I’ve seen. Honestly I don’t understand how they can afford to make it so cheap. They even have a lot of employees here.
The black card area with massage chairs and beds and tanning is tucked in the back nicely and big. The cardio equipment is all very well kept up and has big screens on literally every single thing. Weight wise tons of room as well.
Shares the parking lot with a Kroger and not good signage from the road so look out for Kroger. Plenty of parking.

Just set up a membership for $ 19.99, which includes tanning, the gym membership, & the massage beds. On top of being able to bring one person with me Anytime I go, basically 19.99 for each month for 2 people, thumbs up for that! honestly I had set this up bc suntancity closes at 10 and I’m a night owl tanner, so I came here knowing they are also open ²⁴⁄₇ I can lay whenever on top of all the main perks the membership includes. The only downfall is you have to do a 12 month commitment an set it up with a bank card, but for 19.99 a month you can’t beat it. Small price to pay for an outstanding deal!

I have been to many gyms, this is by far the best deal around. $ 19.99 a month, includes unlimited tanning and hydo massage beds and massage chairs and you can bring up to one guest each time that you come. I think it’s been open close to a year but they’re doing an excellent job at keeping it clean and in tip top shape.
They’re owned by Sun Tan City which explains why their tanning beds are too notch. If you’re not interested in tanning, massages and bringing a guest, the $ 10 per month would be the best package.

Nothing bad about this place as it is exactly like most budget gyms. If you are looking for lots of free weights this is not for you as planet fitness is geared towards beginners. Lots of cardio machines so there is never any problem getting one and the weight machines are kept in pretty good shape. I would definitely recommend if you are a casual gym-​goer on a budget.

I’ve been a few times as a guest of my boyfriend who is a member here. It’s cheap and has just about everything you need. I tend to focus more on strength training with kettle bells and TRX but they don’t have either of those here. For the price, it’s a good deal. It’s always clean when I’m there. The only reason why I’m not giving them 5 stars is I don’t really like the way they do some things; like pizza parties… Why???
