Sabine’s Coffee Haus is a German style coffee haus. We specialize in gourmet coffees from around the world. Breakfast special is Belgian waffle with fruit, whipped cream and real Vermont maple syrup. Our lunch specialty is Croissants with chicken salad made with almonds, tarragon and just enough mayo. Our outdoor grill specializes in authentic German bratwurst and currywurst. During the warmer months we have a wide selection of smoothies and frappes.

History

Established in 2012.

The business started with a discussion between Sabine and her friend Joanne about expressing a need for a local coffee huas. A suitable property was available and Sabine ran with the idea. The building was purchased in May 2012 and renovations began over the summer resulting in a grand opening on 22 September 2012.

Business Owner

Sabine was raised in Kirn, Rhineland-​Phalz Germany. She came to the Us after graduation from school and met her husband who had a career in the military. Sabine has fond memories of growing up living over a pastry shop in her town. She wated to bring a little bit of Germany to Oglethorpe County Georgia. Sabine’s Coffee Haus is a place wher you can use the Small Free Library or get connected to the internet while enjoying the ambiance of an international small coffee hays.
