History

Established in 2007.

After being led all over the world on the wings of adventure, co-​founder Olivia Scholz finally found herself being called back home. Returning to get married and start a life with her husband to be, she introduced Louis to Lexington in 2003.

St. John & Myers Jewelry was founded in 2007 by Louis and Olivia Scholz. In Fall 2012, they moved from their original location on Old Harrodsburg Road to their current location on Old Vine Street (the former location of Surgener Jewelers).

The store, St. John & Myers Jewelry is dedicated to their mothers. It is the culmination of a shared dream to offer an experience as unique and memorable as their one-​of-​a-​kind jewelry. They scour the world for unique, soul-​stirring, timeless jewelry to match every style and taste.

Meet the Business Owner

Olivia S.

Business Owner

Her love affair with antique and estate jewelry began with her husband, Louis. His passion for great pieces is infectious! As the years passed, finding and sharing jewelry with others became as much her love as it is his. Both feel that they are truly blessed to be working together in a business that is so much fun!

Her favorite part? Helping a person find a special gift. She loves to help provide that moment when you feel like her hero.

In addition to her 13 years in the industry, Olivia’s previous jobs were varied; anything from admin assistant in an office to working on an ecommerce web site, to tax consulting for multinational companies. Her business background compliments Louis’s gemology training and strong sense of design. Together, they are building a jewelry store to pass on to their children.

A proud Lexingtonian, Olivia is an alumnus of Sayre School, UK, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Alpha Kappa Psi. She also currently serves on the board of Local First Lexington.
