The Cheezy Mac

I’m rating this a one star for the fact that the employees swing their legs over the counter where food is present to get out of the inline instead of walking through the door in the back. I refuse to eat here. I can only imagine what else goes on if they allow this to happen for all people passing by to see.

Not good! I implore you-​do not waste your time. This is my second try just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke and still awful. If you want to pay $ 6 for 1980’s school cafeteria Mac n cheese come here! Otherwise make velveeta at home-I’m sure its better.

A Kraft box of mac and cheese is better than this foolishness anyday! I had the pesto Mac and got my kids each a Mac and cheese and they would not eat it and that says a lot because my kids loooove Mac and cheese! Honestly not worth going to or spending any amount of money!

The Cheezy Mac operates a counter space at the Fayette Mall in addition to their main location on Richmond Rd. This fast service macaroni & cheese eatery serves up this very popular classic comfort dish the way granny made it, but in a variety of creative ways with a twist. The kitchen area is not visible from the counter.
This mall location offers Classic Mac N’ Cheese, plus 15 chef’s specialties of mac & cheese including Breakfast Mac, Buffalo Wings Mac, Chicken & Waffles Mac, Chicken Cordon Bleu Mac, Chicken Pesto Mac, Chicken Pot Pie Mac, Chili Mac Dog, Firecracker Shrimp Mac, New World Lasagna Mac, Noodles Orleans Mac, Pepperoni Pizza Mac, Philly Cheesesteak Mac, Pulled Pork Mac, Sloppy Joe Mac, and Southwestern Taco Mac. The prices for each mac & cheese dish $ 4.99-$ 7.99. On the go? Make it a bread cone for only $ 0.75 more. «Build your own mac» is not offered here. Besides mac & cheese, they also offer salads, soup, chili, mac & cheese fritters, soft serve ice cream, Cuban coffee, and Coca Cola products.
There is also a dedicated customer table seating area nearby in the mall area. Free wifi with password available.
I stopped here recently for takeout. I ordered the New World Lasagna Mac ($ 5.99 special/​normally $ 6.99), which was set to go in about 5 minutes. The portion size was good and the dish was very hot. The macaroni twists (cavatappi pasta) were cooked al dente mixed with cheeses, tomato sauce, ground beef, & topped with bread crumbs and a small spicy & sweet corn muffin in the side corner of the container. This dish was very tasty, filling, and not greasy. I would return again to The Cheezy Mac, but I would visit their other location for «build your own» mac & cheese.
