History
Established in 2015.
Having been in the jewelry industry since 2000, but out of retail for the last ten years, it was time to open a retail store again. Lexington has a lot of good jewelry stores, and we are not interested in re-inventing the wheel, so why locate in Lexington?
It’s simple, really. Our store is an expanded concept store — an eclectic mix of fine jewelry, fine photographic art, beauty and some of the best of Kentucky’s artisans. Lexington is a hub for people from the surrounding counties, whether they come for cultural events, for healthcare, or for the vast array of shopping opportunities. We want to give the greatest number of people exposure to the treasures we have found, and Lexington is the place to do that.
We invite you to come experience our expanded concept, visit for just a little while, and leave refreshed. If you are looking for something unique for yourself or that special someone, come on by. We’ll help you find that treasure!
Meet the Business Owner
Sally S.
Business Owner
From the time I was a very little girl, I have loved jewelry. It didn’t have to be expensive or big, just pretty.. .and sparkles helped!
When I met Daniel in the mid-90s, he had already owned two jewelry stores and established a career in the industry. He loved selling jewelry because when customers bought, they always left the store happy. Seeing them smile was exhilarating. We married, moved to Kentucky, opened two stores that we ran for five years, closed them to care for an ailing parent and moved into other aspects of the jewelry industry. Time passed and life brought its surprising twists and turns.
Fast-forward to 2014: it’s time to get back into retail! It took me several months longer than I expected to open this store, but all good things are worth the wait.
On April 2, 2015 we opened the doors of The Diamond Den and More to the public for the first time. We have a rich variety of treasures to share with you, with more good things to come.
Welcome!
