Touché Salon

I love touché salon! I have been going for years to Jennifer to do my hair. She does an absolutely wonderful job every time and everyone there is extremely friendly and welcoming every time. Great salon! :)

Just had my hair done by Tabitha! And let me just say she is fabulous!!! My old stylist retired and I was so nervous about finding a new one! However after reading reviews I called Touché and spoke to a lovely lady who really helped match me with Tabitha! I arrived 5 mins early, I was greeted with a smile and immediately offered water or coffee! Once in the chair i explained that I was nervous after only letting one person touch my hair for 10 years! We spoke about what I wanted and I got exactly that! I enjoyed talking with her and even had a great conversation with another stylist and customer next to me. I had such a great afternoon, that I couldn’t believe time had flown by so fast! I am so excited for my next visit! If u need a great stylist ask for Tabitha at Touché salon!!!

I’m giving Touché hair a 2 star bc of my horrible experience with my first hair dresser, Chris. It was then redeemed by Tabitha.
I made a quick appt with Touché, not knowing who was who at the salon. There was no mention of scaled hair dressers by price. Chris, apparently is a «1» which is the cheapest at $ 34 for a haircut after my service; that kind of explained everything and more. I was greeted with a neutral face and monotoned voice. The first thing Chris did was yawn and tell me how tired it was bc it was «nappy nap» time at 2pm. He barely spoke to me, which i find as rude for someone who does hair. He obviously didn’t seem to care about the reputation of the salon. The only time he said something was to butt into the stylist and customer next to us with a cynical, unwelcome comment every now and then.
His hair cut was even more atrocious and half-as*ed than his customer service. Let me tell you that I have regular, thick healthy straight black hair. He cut it within 4 – 5 minutes, failed to check the lengths or do any maintenance snips, failed to put any serum on, then continued to curl my hair with a curling iron. It looked like a pre-​teen had curled my hair for a part of a school play on Charlie’s Angels if that even exists.
Okay, so you might be thinking that I should have said something. But what could I have said? Can you do a better job at cutting my hair? How come my hair looks NOTHING like the new lob wave hair that I showed you a picture of?
I got in my car, looked in the mirror, tied my hair bc it looked so crappy, and hoped that after I washed my hair, that my hair cut would look alright. Maybe he was a hair genius bc the new receptionist told me the level of the hair dresser didn’t mean they lacked experience… WRONG! my stupid pregnancy brain should have spoken out. After I washed my hair and dried it and even straightened it to try to make it look better, my hair was basically in 2 separate layers. I was livid and it looked like I just got scissors and cut hair off of my ponytail. my hair looked very heavy on the bottom. I called Touché with my complaint, so their only saving grace was to give me a hair cut by someone else with no extra pay… They tried to get me scheduled with someone who was a «2», but I managed to get an appt with Tabitha who is a «4»? Only that she wasn’t available for 2 weeks. So I waited 2 weeks, wearing my hair up the whole time bc of how embarrassing my hair looked.
2 weeks passed and I managed to make it to my 9am appt with Tabitha. I came in at 8:50am, and the receptionist tells me I’m early *roll eyes*. I waited and even saw Chris. I wanted to complain, but I held my tongue. Tabitha gave me a 3 – 5 minute complimentary «deep» conditioning and worked on my hair. It was an average, clean cut. Nothing extraordinary, just plain and simple. She was meticulous and cleaned up whatever Chris failed to do. Tabitha was good, but I wouldn’t pay $ 50 for a haircut by her. And if I wanted a hair cut like Chris gave me, I wouldn’t even go to super cuts. I’d just get really bad scissors and cut my pony tail off.

Had a great experience with Tiffany. She was knowledgable and skilled. I asked for balayaged hand painted highlights which are more recent trend, so I was surprised to learn that she had completed it more frequently. She informed me of her recommended treatments that would keep my hair healthy and save some money while obtaining the look I wanted. I really appreciate being informed about the choices I have and the reason why one may be better than another. While she ran short on time near the end due to an unexpected complication with the hair coloring process, she stayed calm and collected and I left with great results. I would definitely return for coloring and haircuts.

So I first went to touché salon 2 years ago when I first moved to kentucky from wisconsin I got my hair done and it wasn’t anything special due to what I wanted at the time. Yesterday I remade an apt with tiffany, I wanted an ombré style that matched my natural color at the roots and very white silver highlights throughout my head. The process took about 4 hours and tiffany took her time and make sure the quality would be superb. When the process was done I was left with the most beautiful head of hair I’ve had since leaving california. Tiffany truly is passionate about what she does and it shines through her work. Although I only had tiffany do my hair once she is definitely somebody I will trust for a long time. Also the salon offers olaplex which is a state of the art product added into the hair dye/​bleach that makes the hair withstand the damage. Today is my second day since having my hair done and it feels healthier then before I went in. I know this is a long review but I will give credit when credit is deserved. If you have any doubts about making a drastic change see tiffany! You will not be dissapointed.

Having grown up with an older sister who is a hair stylist and my very best friend is one as well, I was so scared to let anyone else do my hair. Joann is awesome! She has done my hair now the last 3 times and I couldnt be any happier. The technique and the results shows what experience does for a stylist. She is great. I would recommend her to anyone!

I just moved to Lexington and needed to find a salon. I liked the reviews of touché on Unilocal and scheduled an appointment. I had a few pictures of the cut and highlights I was hoping for.

After my last stylist at another salon left unexpectedly, I was in dire need of an experienced stylist who would take great care of my cut and color. It’s taken me forever to find a good stylist so the idea of not being able to find another and having to start the process all over again was so daunting. Fortunately Anthony at touché was the best in connecting me with his stylist Mars. Words cannot describe the skill and mastery she has with color. My wait time has never been longer than 10 minutes and the care, time and attention to detail she puts into my hair creates an amazing finished product. I’ve recommended her to several of my friends and will continue to do so.

Awesome experience all around! I have been there multiple times and every time the staff is as friendly as can be. I get my hair cut by Mars and I couldn’t imagine someone else doing a better job. Extremely understanding of what I want and can always decipher my bad salon lingo. The owner does a nice job of creating a relaxing atmosphere and making sure your time there is relaxing as well. Very much worth it, I can guarantee you that.

I absolutely loved this place. Nice to be greeted at the door and acknowledged by all the staff. Not just who was doing my hair! I felt so much better when I left salon then I came in for sure. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

I’ve been coming here for years and I have always had the best service! I always get compliments on my hair and I always tell them to go to touché because they will make you beautiful!

My favorite stylist just moved to this salon. She does wonders with non traditional styles and is THE woman for fun and funky colors. I always leave beyond in love with my hair. For your next appointment, ask for Mars!

Last evening I went to Touché Salon for the first time. I was immediately greeted and offered a bottle of water to drink while my stylist was called. I was very happy to have that bottle of water as I have long hair and it takes a while to get it right! No sitting in the salon chair dying of thirst!
Mars is my stylist and I have been going to her for over a year now. She always gets my hair color just right! I add highlights to my dirty blond hair to make it brighter. When she shampoos my hair she also does a relaxing scalp massage.
The décor is modern and the music not too loud. This is a great spot to get your hair done. Ask for Mars!

I’m surprised this salon doesn’t have any reviews on Unilocal!I absolutely love this place. So clean and modern. Anthony was amazing and such a nice guy to talk to throughout the whole visit. I will definitely be driving 2 hours back to this salon and recommend this salon to anyone nearby! This place is great. Check out all the google reviews!
