I often have to call University Florist from Richmond for my boss, as his daughter is in school up at W&L. These ladies are always very friendly, helpful and thorough in making sure they get the right information. They also make sure same-​day deliveries happen, which is great since sometimes I’m calling at the eleventh hour. My only regret is that I never get to see the flowers myself, but I haven’t heard any complaints on my boss’ end, so I can only assume they’re beautiful! I hope in my travels that I end up Lexington one day so I can pop in the shop to see everything and thank them in person.

University Florist recently did flowers for 2 back to back events for me and they were so beautiful. The events were very different – one using antique and mixed matched vases and Carolyn did an excellent job of designing with our ideas in mind and everyone commented on how beautiful and unique the arrangements were. The other event was more exact and she completely understood and arranged beautiful flowers that really helped MAKE the event. On top of it all she loaned me some great decorative items and delivered at times that were not of the norm. I highly recommend using University Florist for all your floral needs.

Met with Carolyn to talk about flowers for my wedding. She was very knowledgeable about flowers and is a very positive and upbeat person. She is willing to go the extra 5 miles to make sure that your needs are not only met, but surpassed. I’ve seen completed work and it is evident in her work that she throws herself into any task with fervor.
