Well, it’s Halloween time at the Dollar store! From decorations to candy, cards and costumes – everything you could want for Halloween. They also have in addition to that – Thanksgiving and some Christmas stuff. They have holiday plates, glasses, candles(real and fake) everything to get you into the Dollar Tree holiday spirit. They have candy for a dollar you can’t get anywhere else even close to a dollar – namely Tootsie Fruit rolls, the best candy money can buy! They only have them at Easter and Halloween so you have to buy cases of them and store them all year. They are so sweet and wonderful they are worth searching Dollar Stores for. I have a great time with Diane scouring Dollar Trees for the elusive great deals. I once found a full set of stationery with envelopes and high quality paper that would be about 50 dollars at an office supply store. Exhausted, I leave Dollar Tree well satiated with deals for a dollar to find my next exploration spot.

I had quite a pleasant experience here and it was Christmas Eve. The parking lot was full and everyone was running around acting crazy and not very humble and considerate. I kicked myself as soon as I pulled out of my driveway for venturing out into this craziness but I had to get some gifts for my pets and some stocking stuffers. The store was busy and a little bit messy but the staff was exceptionally nice. I’ve worked in retail and I know how hard it is to handle unruly customers the day before Christmas. The women at the checkout couldn’t have been sweeter, they were even cracking jokes and singing Christmas carols to cheer up all of those people waiting in long lines. I was so impressed. The products are what you would expect but they did have an awesome candy aisle with some Muddy Bears(chocolate covered gummy bears that no one else ever has!). I’ll be back!
