Texas Custom Turf

Super easy to work with, came out on the install two separate times to accommodate the pool that we were building, and were the most reasonable quotation we got for the quality of product we used. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris and his guys.

As part of a pool build, I had a large yard installed with artificial grass. Unfortunately the installer did a terrible job mostly with an inadequate base and poor stitching. Texas Turf to the rescue where they installed new grass and used the previously laid grass in another location. We are very happy with the new workmanship. Base was compacted correctly, seams are barely noticeable, and edges are tacked down properly.
Save yourself a lot of time and money and have it done right the first time with Chris Neighbors and Texas turf.

Chris & Texas Custom Turf do an amazing job and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone. I got three quotes for turf and honestly, even though Chris’s quote did turn out to just barely edge another quote, I knew I was going to go with him from the beginning because you could immediately tell how trustworthy and knowledgable he was. He had great insight into what he thought would work best, had great suggestions for places I hadn’t really even thought of (removing a flower bed and taking the turf up to the base of the tree trunk) and was super responsive through the entire process. In fact, I went out of town one weekend during the install and came back to find one of my oak trees was starting to fall due to the heavy amount of rain we had been getting (the turf was partly holding the roots down it turns out) and he got to the house to check it out quicker than the emergency tree trimmers did. Chris and I were standing in the yard when the tree fell, luckily not hitting the house or the new wood fence we had just finished and the trimmers showed up 2min later. We got the tree removed and Chris and his team went back to work to fix the turf in that spot.
The turf is perfect and accomplished exactly what I wanted, a nice year around touch of green in the backyard combined with no dirt getting tracked inside by my dogs! I absolutely love it!

From start to finish, this was one of the easiest transactions ever. Chris gave us a quote based on the dimensions of our terrace and then came and saw the site. A revised LOWER quote was submitted and the job was installed within a few days. Our «yard in the sky» (we live in a mid rise building) is exactly what our pups needed. They love being outside on this comfortable, safe surface. Don’t hesitate to call them for any artificial grass you need.

Chris and his crew at Texas Custom Turf gave me a new, enjoyable backyard after last years crazy drought. They installed incredible feeling, walkable, never needs water or mowing «grass» and decomposed granite throughout my back yard and even installed a little patch for the pups to call their own.
