I have to say the food was delish! Went for Mother’s Day… had the mussels as an app. nice portion.had filet of sole Francais as main course. was so good. melted in my mouth. home made rice pudding for dessert was yummy.
So happy this place is near my house. I will return. :)

Absolutely amazing. Followed Unilocal recommendations to get a reservation and was not disappointed. The food was fabulous and nice sized portions too. Haven’t been to Staten Island in a while and was disappointed by one of my old haunts. This place is my new favorite!!!

HIDDEN GEM… My husband and I finally decided to try this restaurant and we are happy we did. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the owner who showed us to our table. Mary (I believe is her name) helped us with our wine selection and served us. The food was absolutely delicious. It was flavorful and very nice sized portions. After dinner we were offered an after dinner drink which was nice. Overall the restaurant is very good and affordable. We will be back for sure.

Owner has been in the restaurant business in Staten Island for over 25 years, and you will find him up front in the restaurant. Food is very good and a great value. I usually order the Veal or Chicken Parmigiana, which are always fresh and very well prepared, with a side of Penne Vodka that is rich in flavor. My wife orders different seafood dishes and always enjoys them. Their multi-​course dinners and lunches are delicious at very reasonable prices. Service is usually very good. The ambiance is comfortable and unpretentious. A nice place to relax and have some very good Italian food for lunch or dinner. Always popular, especially on the weekends.

This is a good place. Good service and good food. They have great lunch and dinner specials during the week. The owner is always there and is very attentive. At lunch they can be slow but it’s worth the wait. I’m in no rush.
It’s a good alternative to the overpriced mediocrity that is common on Staten Island.

Hosted my sisters baby shower here and everything was great. Food and service was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and assisted in whatever I needed to make the day run smoothly. We have since been back for dinner and the menu is great. The penne vodka and chicken parmigiana was amazing. It is a great spot for an intimate, delicious Italian meal– we will be back.

This was the worst restaurant I ever went to from service the worst to the food also had a friend buy us a bottle of wine for my bd ahead of time & we never got it Nice!!! Never go back

We had dinner on a Friday evening from the alacart menu. The restaurant is clean, well-​decorated, and quiet. Service prompt and courteous. Amuse vouch of eggplant caponata and olive; both seemingly vanished. Dinner special of chicken and veal in a brown sauce with chopped shrimp and shiitakes was delicious, with very tender meats. Chicken Parm was perfectly flattened, fried well, with their delicious red sauce.
Bottom line, they are well-​worth the trip.

One of favs when it was Bella Vita off richmond ave. I just tried it recently and it was the same –Great. I recommend it highly.

I love this restaurant. I’was a regular at Bella Vita in New Springville for many years. The owner is a gentleman and the food is consistantly well prepared and tasty. I recommend this place highly.

Ordered out tonight decided to try Verde on a recommendation from a friend, I had the Chicken cutlet vodka parm hero it was great! Thin cutlets, right amount of sauce and not too much cheese definite recommend. Also the steak and cheese hero was pretty good. but the bread was soggy. We will def try again!

Great tasting traditional Italian food. The place is small, so you’ll probably need a reservation on weekends. 11 of us ate here for my cousin’s birthday. Every table was full and more people kept coming in during the 3 hours we were there. The service is terrific. The owner came over to us several times to make sure we had everything we needed and greeted us on our way in and out.
Everyone enjoyed their meals. The fare is traditional Italian food. Coming from a traditional Italian family who gets good homemade Italian food all the time, I can say the food was very fresh and was delicious.
The place is deceiving from the outside. I always thought it was only a pizzeria and I didn’t expect such a great restaurant. I pass this place all the time and never really took note of it. Now that I know how good it is we will be back.

Don’t let the small size fool you; the food quality, service and atmosphere is HUGE.
When you just walk into the restaurant, to your left is a wall of wonderfull old black and white photos of Staten Island.
A nice touch as you wait to be seated (which is usually isn’t long, but if it’s longer, you really don’t mind).
As you walk to your table you are greeted by a warm and friendly staff; whether you are a ‘regular’ or first-​timer, they make you feel like you’re an old friend .
We’ve celebrated birthdays, and toasted lost loved ones there, and every time the experience gives us wonderful memories.
From Adem, the owner, and the staff. Izzy, Maria, Octavio, Ben and all whose names I didn’t mention, each is professional, proficient and most of all expert at making you feel welcome.
The food, guess I should mention that, is both gourmet quality and homestyle satisfying.
And usually there’s a ‘doggy bag’ for the next day, portions are large enough to fill the biggest appetite.
And the pizza is fabulous. just stop in to the pizzaria side for a quick slice (or two) and you’ll see what I mean.
For a great dining experience, I highly recommend Casa Verde.

Food is top notch! The veil voldestana is probably the best dish I’ve ever had. Staff is amazingly friendly. Excellent experience.

Consistently delicious no matter what I have ordered. Nice prix fixe dinner specials. Also take out pizza.
