Established in 2014.

Bark! Bark! BackYard opened its doors in December of 2014 — our intention was to provide the best daycare and boarding service to all Kauai dogs and their families. As the year has unfolded, we have found that our clients are those who are looking for information on how to have a better relationship with their dogs — and towards that end, we are also turning to training owners and conducting group activities that makes both dog and parent comfortable in handling any situations in their home or outdoor activities. This has been a need, and it is our privilege to fill it.

I started this business because I have dogs and needed a place that didn’t exist when I wanted to travel. I have dogs that are more «difficult» and thus, I wouldn’t trust them with just a kid next door. I schooled at the hands of one of the best teachers — Cesar Millan, as well as my experience assisting in teaching obedience classes with the local Dog Fanciers of Kauai. I believe we are providing a service that didn’t exist and was definitely needed.
