Mac Made Easy

I called the store before going. First of all the person answering the phone gave me wrong information about the product I needed. He said that they have a «good amount». Mean while, my husband also called not knowing that I already called and they told him that there was only a few left. That was confusing. Upon arriving there, no one greeted us. About after 20 minutes somebody finally talked to us because everyone in there left. Good customer service should happen when you first enter a store by being greeted first and foremost. I could’ve walked out and they would’ve lost business. I gave them a 2 because they had the products I needed in stock. Ultimately to get repeat customers you at least have to be able to cover the basics. Even though it gets busy, you always greet customers so that you know and they know that you know that there has been acknowledgment. Also, product knowledge and product inventory of workers are key.

I am so amazed by this team. My old but trusty laptop obtained a virus and they were able to clean it up, back it up & on top of that, they updated my software so I could retrieve all of my old files I thought I lost forever. They went above and beyond and completed it all in 3 hours!!!

Broken iphone in Hawaii? These are the guys to bring it to. Professional, Resourceful and not trying to constantly up sell you something. I can see why the Awards from Apple over the last 3 years are hanging proudly behind the service counter. Don’t waste time going anywhere else. They won’t hurt you!

Totally recommend checking out Mac Made Easy for anything apple. It was so much easier coming here to get my family’s phones fixed. Prices are reasonable, and they estimate up to a week’s worth of shipping and fixing, but it’s done such faster. Customer service is awesome!
They also recently moved to their new location, which is just across the street from their old location! On the corner of ahukini rd., if you’re driving towards the airport. If you’re coming from the airport, keep straight on ahukini rd., past walmart at the intersection of KFC, and hilo hattie! –building will be on your left hand side. You can’t miss it (brown and yellow building).

I was having trouble getting my new I Pad set up and took it into the store. A gentleman named Chance help me for over 30 minutes and did not charge me a dime! You don’t find service like this very often on Kauai.

Customer service has been very good from all of my experiences as I have purchased many products from them to include a few computers. However, my last purchase of a Mac desktop was very disturbing… after having my computer for a few months, for whatever reason I needed to check on the memory, I noticed that I was sold an old model! When at the store I asked twice as I wanted to be sure I purchased the newest computer being that I was spending almost 2K. Turns out they had the newest model displayed and I was told I was purchasing the newest but I was sold a 2 year old version without the Retina display that I thought I had purchased. With that said, to my fellow consumers, I recommend purchasing your Mac straight from Mac online. I am a big supporter of local business but unfortunately not at my expense. At the very least they will recognize their mistake and help to corrected. The best Mac Made Easy could do was offer to put my computer on consignment. Not acceptable in this instance. Most consumers like myself is not tech savvy enough to know right off the bat, that’s where we put our trust in our Mac professionals right?
Also, a few years back I also purchased a new external hard drive from them and when I got home to use it I found a disc already in it with the company inventory files. No big deal, I returned the disc to them and shrugged it off. Couple days later the automatic door stopped working and they allowed me to exchange it for a like model with ease. So that was a plus considering it was sold «new».

I took an apple product to them that I bought at an actual Apple Store five months earlier and the clerk said I would have to take the product back to the Apple Store. To be fair, the new Apple product was an Apple Watch, and the man behind the counter was very nice.

HORRIBLE! We were assured they had ‘everything’ in stock when we called about purchasing a laptop. When we arrived later, the story changed. Nope, nothing in stock. Thanks for the 1.5 hour round-​trip drive for nothing.
Went home, called Apple, ordered nearly $ 2600 worth of Apple product.
Your loss.

I don’t usually write reviews but just felt like I was robbed on my last purchase as this store. Make sure you check out the prices online before walking into this store. I know we are on an island, I know they need to make money for their overhead and costs, but putting prices over the recommended Retail price is just unforgivable. So, they have found niche and decided to ride it out until everyone finds out how much they are overcharging. I just purchased an hdmi cable from them today to hook to my mini display port for $ 39.95 and walked out thinking sheesh but ohh well guess they are pricey. This was a non apple product also. Just browsing online and found the exact same cable on Amazon for $ 10.99 and thats with free shipping!!! Even though that was the sale price their Suggested Retail Price was $ 25.99. I know that there is no way they are spending $ 20 then marking them up 100% which is normal for retail so this saddens me knowing that I again have no store to walk into and check out Apple products due to the feeling of getting ripped off worse than a drug dealer in a high demand market. So fare well Mac Made Money, Kauai. I will not spend another dime with you and will be sure to spread the word of your crooked ways. Aloha!

When your son drops his iPhone on your vacation to Kauai, this is the place to go. They were very nice, fixed his display in about an hour, and saved our vacation! Highly recommended!

AMAZING experience and service! I came in with a dead iphone screen and Jordan actually made this iPhone headache a positive experience. I appreciate the personal attention (never felt rushed) and efficient fix to my issue. Jordan is highly skilled and knowledgable and knew the exact solution to my screen problem!
I highly recommend Mac Made Easy and they are by-​far my new Kauai go-​to for Mac issues.

My Macbook Air battery started failing while on a trip to Kauai, and Mac Made Easy took great care of me. They helped get a new battery authorized under Applecare, and were able to get the shipment out from California, contact me, and pop the new one in the day before we left for three months in Asia. Small convenient store for Apple products and service. Very convenient location with free parking near the store entrance. Staff is always friendly and knowledgable.

There aren’t enought stars to convey my appreciation for the staff of Mac Made Easy. While on vacation in Kauai, my wife’s laptop was stolen from our condo. When the laptop was taken to Mac Made Easy a few days later for service, their techs noticed the lock message we were able to send to it, called us on the number we posted and helped to return the laptop through the Kauai police.
After we received the laptop, we went to the store to thank them and get some advice on the state the laptop was in with the OS being partially reinstalled. They helped us reinstall the operating system and get the laptop back up and running without any charge.
This group was a highlight of our trip and deserves your patronage!

We bought an ipad on the mainland when we were on vacation this summer because we wanted to have a portable device to look up hotels & travel plans. We didn’t realize Kauai had a Mac place.
I took my ipad in today because the screen has a hairline crack in it. Michelle was super friendly & helpful. She gave me different options & didn’t push the more expensive route of getting the screen replaced. She suggested I purchase a screen saver & a more durable case than the one I had. I ended up getting an Otter box & she even put the screen saver on it for me as a favor. We’ll buy our Mac products here in the future!

I have been to the store several times for maintenance, repair, and to shop. I am so impressed by how personable and knowledgeable the staff are. They really go the extra mile to be of service. The new tech guy is a freaking rock star!!!

wow! i have to say that i was impressed when i walked into mac made easy!
i knew i wasn’t going to be walking into an apple store, so i wasn’t expecting much, because kauai doesn’t have much.
but mac made easy has a lot of different mac products. they have everything from iMacs, macbooks, iPads, etc.
the woman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful! she even wanted to hold my 9 month old daughter (she needed her baby fix, haha) so i could have an easier time looking around.
instead of buying online, i will probably be paying this store a visit the next time i decide to buy another apple computer.
