New Salon 78

This was the ultimate rip off experience. The stylist Kandice aka Kandi only flat ironed my hair. Her «assistant» or should I say side kick, washed, deep conditioned, and blow dried my hair. Anyway, after her assistant blow dried me, Candice finally flat ironed my hair and then had the nerve to charge $ 100. For what!
I will give her points on being professional and for providing a good initial consultation because a lot of stylist don’t bother… However, when I left, I felt like I had been bamboozled by a car salesman. I liked my hair and thought I had finally found a good stylists who can style and manage the hair… It was a bitter sweet moment because I really need a stylist in the ATL but $ 100 is not worth it, especially if you didn’t get any chemicals… just a wash, deep condition, and flat iron.
Not only did she charge me $ 100, she tried to persuade me to buy some shampoo/​conditioner she uses for $ 65. Unfreakinbelievable! The new salon is located inside the Sola Salon in Buckhead ! I need a beautician and not a hustler on my tresses!

OMG! I never knew I had good hair until now! Wow wow wow! It all began when I was working an event for the Hairshow at UTOPIA and saw this woman in the VIP area and her hair looked AMAZING! I was like I gotta make sure I catch her before she leaves to ask her about her hair. I MISSED HER! I did not see her leaving. ughh!
How about the next day I was at the World Congress center and who do I see walking past me… the same da&* woman! Are ya friggin kiddin me??? Was this devine or what!?? I stopped her and asked who does your hair? Well come to find out she does hair and her shop is close to my home!!! Thank ya Jesus! Thank ya! :-) Her name is Candace. My hair never looked so good yal… like seriously! The salon uses all Paul Mitchell products and everyone in the salon is soo cool. And for sistah gals with natural hair… GO! Go now!!! You will not be dissapointed! I got a semi permanent — layered cut– treatment. I got the works! And it was sooooo worth it. I have found a new home for my hair and I will never go anywhere else. Ain’t nothing like healthy hair and a dope hairstyle to go with it! Thank you Candace and staff!
