History
Established in 2003.
Alter Ego Comics began as an Internet shopping site for movie and TV collectibles. As the online business grew, owner Marc B. was able to fulfill a life-long dream of opening a brick and mortar comic book store. So, in 2005, the Alter Ego Comics store opened in downtown Lima, Ohio.
Alter Ego Comics entered it’s next phase of growth in 2009, when Bowker moved the store to a much larger location at 230 N. Main St, in the heart of downtown Lima.
