Acura of Limerick

We purchased a 2011 Honda CRV with 34k on the clock a few months ago. Not long after our purchase my wife noticed the car shuddering while cruising at less than 30 mph. I couldn’t believe a car with less than 40k miles would have transmission problems. So I pulled the dip stick as a initial check. The fluid was grey/​black and smelled burnt. So I did 2 of the dealer recommended transmission services over a 2 week period, which has solved the problem.
My issue is with the service department. How does someone go through a presale inspection and not check the fluids? And if they did check them, ignore an obvious problem. I know this is my fault for trusting a high end dealership to be good on their word that a car has been serviced, but I’m still very disappointed.
Honda recommends in there service manual the CR-​V transmission has a fluid service done every 30k. This was obviously not done by the previous owner and not picked up in the presale inspection…
Maybe I’m weird but when I put 20 grand down on a late model car with low mileage and buy it from a high end dealership, I expect a car that is up to par with all services.
I sent this information to Derek their internet sales manager and didn’t even receive a response. Once again very disappointed in a upscale branded dealership.

I’ve owned my Acura RDX for about a year now and I have to say that I am super impressed with not just the vehicle but the excellence in customer service. Derek was the sales rep who worked with me and he was awesome with the information he provided me both on the test drive, in the showroom and getting to know the vehicle once I purchased it. The process was easy, stress-​free and I felt totally comfortable buying the car. I’ve been there a few times since I bought the car for service and everyone I’ve interacted with from the service staff to the receptionist have been gracious and treated me with extraordinary service. I highly recommend Acura of Limerick!

I went to Acura of Limerick looking to lease a car for the first time. I had gone to another dealership and was discouraged with leasing process until I came to Acura of Limerick. My sales rep Derek was wonderful at explaining everything and I did not feel pressured. Above all, the product is great. I love the 2016 RDX and I definitely plan on being a repeat customer :).

Its a good place to go sit and talk on all your options to own an Acura.
People here will fill all the gaps you have and will work on reducing the gap between budgets and value of the car.
I was given couple of options when i was there and finally i got to choose which works in my budget.
Overall one of the best places that gives highest priority to Customers.

Bought a 2016 acura that we were told had navigation and came with a maintenance package. The maintenance never existed but we found out while signing the paperwork to get the car, we figured no big deal, sales rep was new. The next morning we discovered there was no navigation. Called the dealership and Chris told me I bought the cheap car, so there is no NAV. Spoke to Joon, the GM who is absolutely clueless about what his employees are telling customers. He did offer to take the car back, I’ll give him credit for that. But was combative and questioned everything I said and ignored most of my complaints. We kept the car because we needed it and lived without the NAV. Went to the carwash later and the sunroof leaks. Brought the car back and was told we went to the wrong car wash, too high of pressure. If you buy a car, ask for an approved list of car washes so your sunroof doesn’t leak. They didn’t even look at the sunroof, just spewed lies out of their mouths while the car sat in the parking lot. Called corporate and was told someone would call me back within 24 hours. That didn’t happen. Bottom line, the car is sharp but it’s pointless if it can’t get wet. Could have bought a $ 10,000 Kia and stayed dry. Stay away from these liars, starts at the top of the organization and trickles down to the service department. Find a reputable dealership for all Acura needs.

From the first moment I stepped into this dealership, I knew that I was entering a high luxury experience. The facility is gorgeous and pristine. My fiancé and I were greeted immediately by Kevin, who was courteous and helpful from the start. He took the time to get to know what we wanted in a vehicle and made suggestions accordingly. He used his ipad to show us exactly which models he was discussing as well as what features were highlighted so it made it easy to see what he was talking about. After the test drives, he sat down with us and discussed all our options and all the pros and cons to each option. Did I mention that water/​coffee and snacks were offered from the getgo?
Picking up my car was an absolute dream. They made sure I had a full tank and even detailed my car. It was a simple and quick process. Kevin was well prepared with all of the paperwork and made sure I was still comfortable and understood everything I was signing.
Let me also mention, we live right next to a dealership. But we decided to drive an hour away to Limerick because of the type of service we received. Even after I purchased my new TLX, Kevin still provides the time to answer all of my questions and makes sure I am completely comfortable with my new car. Can I also say, he’s not the type to sell you and forget it. He found out that I work late and travel a lot, so he took the time himself to coordinate my service appointment and took care of everything. All I had to do was drop off my car and pick up the loaner and then pick up my car when it was done. He even offered to meet me halfway so I wouldn’t have to drive as far!
Needless to say, Joon’s team at Limerick go above and beyond to ensure you have a luxury experience. I would recommend the drive to anyone — go see Kevin and receive the superior service and care he’ll give!

April 2014 — Inspection — rear brakes are 7/​6mm
June 2014 — multipoint inspection — rear brakes are 7/​6mm
October 2014 — multipoint inspection — rear brakes are 1.7mm that will be $ 1000 please.
I was told by Shawn that salt on the road (in the summer) caused the caliper to hang and that caused 5 mm to wear off in 100 days.

Recently purchased/​leased a vehicle here… And the experience was negative, for the following reasons: 2 days after I got the car, I let the sales rep know that it was too small, and u was concerned. He did nothing with the request for a larger car, and waited for it to be too late to remedy, before taking me seriously. I then spoke a ‘sales manager’, who could not have been more condescending and unhelpful, it was clear that I had to keep going up the foodchain, as someone at this organization wants happy customers, right? Wrong, I then worked with the GM, who at least listened to my concerns, and had a better bedside manner, but still came back with the same response, basically: «we have you over a barrel and we will not work with you, to fix your problem».
5 months in, I am dissatisfied with the quality and the leg room if the car, and stuck. I would not recommend working with this dealership, as they conduct themselves in an elitist manner and act as if they are doing you a favor, just by talking to you.

I did not get to deal with the amazing Derek. I got to deal with everyone else. I bought the car during the day time. Got it home and it turns out most of the dash lights were burnt out and the wiring harness had become damaged. How did this happen on a certified car? Well that is because any sane human would never have passed this car, only a sleezebag would. Took the car to a real mechanic and it turns out the car was in a MAJOR accident and had to have parts welded back on. Not only do they vehemently deny this, they also refuse to fix the dash lights from the accident that it was in. Love the Acura, absolutely hate the dealer. They shouldnt be allowed to sell random used cars, let alone new Acura’s.

I was THRILLED with the level of customer service at this location and Derek in particular. The entire crew couldn’t be nicer, more helpful, more efficient, or more professional. From the start, I was provided with thorough information, given stellar customer service and treated with class​from the receptionist, Derek, Finance, and service.​I was escorted to​a private room where I was able to relax and gather my materials as I travel a lot. I was offered, goodies, drinks, and given a tour of the extremely clean and efficient dealership.
I chose to purchase from Acura of Limerick instead of closer local Acura dealers due to the service I was given​and the reviews I heard and read about Derek​. I will be coming back again and look forward to visiting for service – the customer lounge in this new place has to be seen to be believed. In fact I am headed there today to possibly purchase another vehicle for my wife– MDX Tech given’s Derek’s customer service​. He even took my picture with my new Acura and sent out a congratulations. What an awesome personal touch and connection.

I was happy to have an Acura dealership open near my home. But once I arrived at Limerick, I was THRILLED with the level of customer service at this location. I’ve had my 2011 MDX serviced twice here and the service crew couldn’t be nicer, more helpful, more efficient, or more professional. A definite departure from their counterparts in West Chester! Keep up the great work and you have an Acura customer for life.

Working with Kelly and Derek, so far, so good. I purchased an Acura RDX, after a week of being tortured by car sales people at other dealers, the experience here was really not unpleasant.

Set up an appointment to test drive a car, told them I was driving over an hour to get there. Get to the dealership to find out the car was sold over two hours ago by a large sales man who just laughs and walks away from me. Not going to be getting any of my business or a good review. Icing on the cake was the sales manager i spoke with earlier called me on my drive home to tell me the car was sold, and was later followed up by a woman who asked about how I liked the car I never got to drive. Thank you Acura of Limerick for wasting my time.

Received a phone call from this company from a guy named «Shawn». He asked me if there is anything he can help me with b/​cuz i called them earlier.
(but the fact is I did NOT make any phone calls to them. I have never done anything with Acura before.)

Awesome new Acura store! I live in close to the Delaware border below Philadelphia and there are a few dealers in the area but none I was ever overly impressed with. Especially after one didn’t know how smart key access worked or that the car had bluetooth audio where I first test drove.
Started browsing online to see what was out there on a new TL because I enjoyed the drive and from the first (and nicest) phone call from Kelly to working with Derek who found me the one last 2012 TL in a color I wanted, it was easy and fun. I wasn’t exactly sure where Limerick was at first but it’s only 10 – 15 minutes from the King of Prussia mall and so easy to get to without traffic. I will be coming back again and look forward to visiting for service – the customer lounge in this new place has to be seen to be believed. Great people to work with!
