History

Established in 1997.

Turtle Creek Golf Course was built on land that was originally a William Penn Land Grant. Ground was broken in 1996 with the official opening on August 15th 1997.

It is a modified links style course that was designed by architect Edward Biedel.

It is one the highest rated courses in the area garnering 4 and ½ stars from Golf Digest.

Turtle Creek also has a «pure golf» environment… no housing developments on the course which makes for a pure golf experience. A large tent overlooking the 18th is a popular spot for outings of any size or even just a post round cocktail for two.

Turtle Creek is a family owned and operated business and was the dream of the Waltz family patriarch, Raymond G. «Sandy» Waltz.
