BEWARE!!!
Left an HDMI cable and MacBook Pro video adapter plugged into the tv in my room. It was not there this evening when we went to watch movies. Lady at the desk tells me I need to wait until tomorrow. I left the cable coiled neatly, still plugged in. Our doors and windows were locked, and housekeeping was the only person in this room today. Either the cable returns by tomorrow morning or we file a chargeback with our credit card, I’ll call the police and report theft, I will press charges as well. I worked hotels for over 6 years. This is a VERY poor way to treat a guest. You should be on the phone with a manager right now.
Manager didn’t have the guts to call me himself this morning, he asked the front desk to do it. They claim we left our door open. Our door was wide open when we checked in for whatever reason. And the door beeped at us yesterday when we left, hence made sure it was closed before walking away. They have cameras everywhere but don’t seem to keen on providing us the video. I would think they would be jumping up and down for a chance to prove we left our door open.
Filed a police report today for the theft. Police don’t think they even have working cameras. (Another thing you should be aware of if you have a family or care about security). After talking to a friend that owns a hotel in the area we weren’t able to stay at, she told us she would make sure to tell all the local hotels and motels they partner with NOT to send people here. I happen to work for a medical office up and down the coast, we will make sure we never send our patients here either. I would never want my family, friends, or customers to go through what we did on a vacation.
They tout the rooms as recently renovated, and yet we have appliances from the 70s and 80s. Pretty sure they have 1 upgraded room they use for photo purposes.
Serviced our room today and didn’t give us any coffee or sugar. They left a bag of trash on the counter from our meal last night.

A nice motel at the Oregon coast. The hotel has been modernized. Rooms are in nice condition, and very clean. Very quiet at night. Our room had a nice gas fireplace. The free breakfast was the usual continental style, but everything was fresh and delicious. WIFI worked very well. We will stay here again.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here in February. The room was huge (king oceanfront spa room with fireplace). The room had two tv’s, and we absolutely loved the spa tub right next to the window. The main TV did not work at first, but the front desk lady came down right away. She had to call the cable company and really seemed to care. After a couple of trips to our room, she finally got it going.
The room is dated compared to other hotels we have been to, (we may be slightly spoiled) but it wasn’t bad and was a good price to get the ocean front, fireplace, spa tub, & double headed shower. Breakfast was pretty good too! Robes were provided, which I love!

The good first beautiful view. The bad remodeling was not recent. The drapes are old and smell the blanket was paper thin very used the coverlet was very used and old the bed had sand in it. The room smelt ugly. It was not the worst room I’ve had before but it was 310 for two nights could be cleaner. We still had a good time though.

My husband and I have been coming to the Nordic for at least 3 years now. We love it, the rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. the have your basic room with micro coffe and fridge up to spa with balcony and fireplace. The best thing about it is all rooms have ocean front view and room rates are very affordable. Once you stay a couple of times they will send you a post card for two nights for The price of one. The people are very friendly, looking to our next visit.

I read the reviews about the rude customer service but still decided to give them a call based on their photos and to see if they offered any honeymoon specials for my husband and I. The girl who answered the phone was very rude. When I asked if they have any specials or honeymoon rates her answer was a simple, yet very rude, no. We did not end up staying here.

We had the King jacuzzi room on the 2^nd floor, very nicely remodeled with a medium-​firm bed. The room was good sized, with a great view of the ocean. No AC but it was only 70 out so we just opened a window (no bug screens) and we were fine.
One night was on July 4^th so we had a good view of the beach firework shows. Only problem was the door to the steps to the beach was right underneath us and that door slammed hundreds of times that night. They should have some sort of hydraulic closer on it!
The breakfast was pretty normal stuff, nothing to write home about.
Enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Stayed there last weekend with the wife for our 17^th wedding anniversary. It was very nice we had a king room with a patio on the first floor just above the sun deck. Great view of the ocean even at night as they have flood lights that illuminate the surf. The room was a little smaller than it looks in the pictures but it was nice. It had a fridge and a microwave and we were right across from the pool and hot tub which were nice. Continental breakfast in the morning was good and had waffles which is always good in my book. Easy to find and friendly staff and a nice long staircase to the beach. If you dont want to do the stairs it is a very short drive to the area where you can park on the beach so that is convenient. Overall we had a great stay at the Nordic and we will be going back.

This is our first visit since the most recent renovation. Outstanding! We have been visiting Lincoln City for 50 years; stayed at this property when it was The Red Roof Inn, until now. It’s wonderful.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and had an outstanding view. The staff at the Nordic are all on top of it! Our room was always cleaned when we needed it to be, the people in the office were gracious and helpful.
In our view this is the most value for our vacations dollar.
The breakfast bar is quite varied and offers convenient hours. The access to the beach is quite comfortable. For those that find steps a bit of a challenge, there is a nice bench halfway down that you can rest. We are 70+ and manage quite well.
We will be back, again & again. Thank you for a delightful stay!

I stayed here with a friend over spring break. We got a 2 queen room and everything was wonderful. The room was nicely decorated with an appealing color scheme, everything looked clean. and the view was fantastic. I loved that the Windows actually opened out to the air, not blocked by a screen or anything, so you could actually go out the window (if you were on the first floor like we were). The beds were sooo soft and comfy, but if you like a firmer matress this could be an issue.
The pool area was nice as well. Its a bit small, so if there are a more that 3 or 4 people it can get kinda crowded. The pool was a nice temperature, the hot tub was great as well. There are no bathrooms in the pool area so go before you head down!
beach access is a windy stairway mixed with actual wood stairs and dirt paths with stones that can get slippery, so be careful while heading down.
Overall it’s a really great stay and I’d totally recommend this hotel. I will definitely be back!
Also, you can have Gallucci’s pizza delivery to the hotel and it is DELICIOUS.

This is our second time here and we love this place! The first time we were here was for our honeymoon back in 2013 and both trips we got a jacuzzi suite. They have an awesome Jacuzzi tub right next to our window which overlooked the ocean we also had 2 tvs in our room a nice big one in front of our bed and a smaller TV on top of the fireplace so we can watch it while we sit in the jacuzzi! Also we love the shower it is double headed so we can both shower at the same time! The continental breakfast is a great plus with fresh waffles and fruit. There is a pool, hot tub and sauna which we didn’t use this trip bit they are really nice. We have and will continue to recommend this place to all our friends!

I am writing this review as I sit here in my oceanfront room, watching the beautiful sunset. This is our third night at this motel. Sadly, tomorrow we will need to head home. We had originally booked a room for 2 nights. But after the first night, we knew we needed to extend our stay by an extra night. I inquired at the front desk if this would be possible. Our current room was not available for that third night. But the one directly above us was. Imagine my delight when I received a call from the lobby this morning about 15 minutes before check-​out time, that our new room was already ready and waiting for us to move into. We shifted all of our belongings up one flight of stairs and into our immaculately scrubbed room. The staff has gone above and beyond in our case. We used the pool and whirlpool last night. It was clean and clear. The temperature of both the pool and the spa were heavenly. The complimentary, continental breakfast is quite adequate. That is such a nice benefit to have during a motel stay. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends!

My family and I have been coming to the Nordic for years. The pool and the continental breakfast are always a family favorite. There is nothing better than coming back from the outlet mall or dinner and taking the kids to the pool to really tire them out before bed time. The beach access and the view from the rooms are phenomenal. They are very kid friendly and is always a pleasure to stay here.

My wife and I went there the 2^nd weekend in October and were worried that the weather would be rainy, wrong, great weather and a great time at the hotel. Nice and clean and did not here a neighbor the whole time we were there, in fact the only thing we he was the surf both nights. If you go, ask for a room with a deck, we had dinner out there and it was very special. The staff was great and we will be back. Hope this helps.

This was the worst stay we have ever had at any hotel. We booked for 3 nights. Upon arrival we went to our 2 queen room and decided we didn’t like it because it looked like had not been touched since 1985 even though the website said it had been recently renovated (false advertising) so we paid to upgrade to the Jacuzzi suite (the best room they offer) this was no better than the first room. The first thing we noticed was how dirty the windows were and upon looking around it just got worse, the blinds were broken, paint peeling off the walls, dead bugs filled the light fixtures, bed was awful, coffee pot had stains of who knows what on it, carpet was old as the hills and felt like you were walking on concrete. So after the first night my wife and daughter started to feel like they couldn’t really ever catch their breath when we came back to room and we kind of just blew it off but the second day when we woke up it was so bad that i started looking more and more. Low and behold there was MOLD all over the Jacuzzi area even though we had never even used it or turned it on. My wife is deathly allergic to mold so this was the final straw. I went down to the front desk and explained my wife and daughter were sick and would not be staying for the 3^rd night. That’s when the attendant went into instant rude mode, instantly pulled out the invoice i had signed upon check in and said you can leave but you will be charged for all 3 nights, there was no I’m sorry or apologies of any sort, just if you have a problem with it you can call and talk to the manager tomorrow. The next day the manager called me and once again was rude right off the bat argued with me about everything saying i was basically lying about everything in the room (even though i had pictures of it all) and i got nowhere with her. Then after returning home and checking my credit card i was billed for all 3 nights along with two more charges that topped $ 391. Not only is this place old and run down but the management is so unprofessional i can’t believe they are still in business. After reading all the bad reviews i see the manager gets on and replies with all kinds of excuses of why she is always right and even went as far as accusing one guest of having drugs in there room. Pretty pathetic. I will never stay here again and will tell anyone and everyone i know to do the same.

I stayed 3 nights in a king unit with private balcony on the third floor; the unobstructed panoramic oceanfront view was amazing. The hotel is located on a bluff overlooking the beach/​ocean. There are no elevators and no on-​site spa for massages/​facials/​mani-​pedi. There was a sign outside the hotel reading that it’s newly remodeled. I have no idea what it was like before and was glad renovation was not in progress during my stay.
There is a private access path to the beach from the hotel and it is steep (can be difficult for those with creaky knees). The stretch of beach was clean, quiet and not crowded (probably because it was away from public access beach area).
The room was clean with the usual fridge and microwave (no fireplace or Jacuzzi in my unit). A table and 2 swivel chairs sat by the sliding glass door leading to the private balcony. There were 2 patio furniture chairs on the balcony. I like that the room décor is not extreme — it’s a little on the plain side with muted colors of sage green and cream, with some blue and burnt red. It’s not outdated and its not modern or contemporary.
I really like that the hotel does not allow smoking or pets. There are saunas and a pool. There’s also a conference room adjacent to the hotel lobby where continental breakfast is served each morning for the hotel guests, but it did not appeal to me.
The hotel is close to the hwy where most of the shops and restaurants are, but nicely tucked away from the Hwy noise. There’s an awesome communal sundeck with lounge chairs, overlooking the beach/​ocean.
I had no issues at all with my room, but a guest a few doors over was complaining to the front desk lady that his room’s drain wasn’t working.
I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

Stayed overnight about a week ago. The rooms weren’t super fancy but the price was definitely reasonable. We were able to book 2 rooms near each other just one day in advance in August, whcih I’m sure is a busy time at the beach. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. They have great beach access: stairs down to the beach with adequate lighting for night-​time. I would stay there again for sure.

After inquiring about 3 – 4 different Lincoln city hotels, we stumbled upon this little gem.
All rooms are ocean view (huge windows!).
Easy beach assess (stairs equipped with lights @ night).
Large communal balcony w/​lounge chairs (some rooms have a private balcony).
Indoor salt pool/​hot tub/​sauna.
Awesome complimentary breakfast.
Friendly staff.
annnnnnd Reasonably priced (!)

We just loved the Nordic Oceanfront Inn! Reasonably priced and we can only think of things to go in the PRO column. Perfect beachy getaway spot. The view, easy beach access right out our door, fireplace in the room, a kitchenette where we prepared steaks for our dinner with a view, comfy bed, super-​fast wifi (good enough to stream Netflix with no problems), indoor pool & hot tub (which we didn’t have time to take advantage of, since we only stayed overnight. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, there was plenty of convenient parking, and the standard continental breakfast fare was much appreciated. We will happily return to the Nordic Oceanfront Inn!

I have been staying at The Nordic for as long as I can remember and I’ve never had a bad experience; I love this hotel! It’s simple, clean, the staff is friendly, the view of the ocean is spectacular from every room, there’s a large sundeck, pool, hot tub and sauna, and every morning they offer a free continental breakfast with a good selection of food. What more could you want?!
As mentioned in another review — there are no elevators and the hotel is three floors. If you have difficulty with stairs you’ll want to request a room on the first floor. The hotel’s pathway down to the beach is also stairs, which are fairly steep in some areas. A short drive up the road will get you to areas with easier beach access if you can’t/don’t want to make the trek down.
