It’s not easy to review a funeral home since the circumstances that bring you there are never good ones but I’ll give it a try. When I think of a funeral home I think of a few things that could be reviewed: building appearance, interior appearance, ease of planning, and courtesy of staff.
The outside of the funeral home is not gorgeous and a little deceiving to how nice the inside is. The outside is kinda just blahh but the inside is really nice. It’s right off the corner of 2 main streets near a busy intersection and easily accessible off I75. It appears to just have been remodeled and is clean and fairly modern. The funeral home itself is small, there are 2 viewing rooms but one is upstairs and I did not see this room. Also not sure if they have an elevator to use but guessing the probably do for the casket and the elderly. They have a small kitchen and seating downstairs to be used for family to keep food and beverages. There are a couple hotels within a few miles but nothing that is 4 or 5 stars so if you have that aunt\uncle\cousin that only roll in 5 star hotels they will probably have to stay 4 miles or further. Is that a good or bad thing? Depends on how much you like them! LOL!
The staff was extremely nice and professional. They made us all feel as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. My wife’s family did the planning and they said they were great to work with and overall a good experience.
Hope you never need a funeral home but if you do in this area and are looking for a nice place that is not overwhelming in size and price make sure you check this one out.
