I recommend this auto shop, Ron is very helpful, honest mechanic. My son took his Used 2007 Scion to be inspect in a different auto shop because of a squeaking sound, that place was charging him $ 900 cause they want to change some parts. It was too expensive so i told my son to take the car to Ron for second opinion and when he checked the car, he said it just needs to be clean, the break pads and other stuff doesn’t need to be replace yet. He saved my son from spending $$$. Its hard to find un honest mechanic. Im so glad that we met Ron.

I took my Diesel F 250 into Ron for a fuel leak somewhere under the hood. I had this problem before with another truck that cost me $ 1000. Ron repaired my truck with in a day. My bill was $ 365. I also got a quote for another problem that I have avoided because else where it would cost $ 1000. plus. Ron quoted me $ 700. He will be getting all of my repairs. He is friendly and ex-​planes everything.

We took my grandsons car there as it was overheating. Ron spent 20 minutes giving my grandson advice and actually recommended a solution that was a minimal expense and could be purchased at a auto parts store! The car is up and running and we are so grateful to Ron for his help and kindness. He might not have made any $$ from us today but he has a customer for life for both me and my grandson! He’s honest and cares about his customers!

This is my new mechanic!!! I will let everyone I know about this shop! Ron is the «salt of the earth», honest, trustworthy, accommodating and doesn’t try to sell you every service whether you really need it or not. I heard some noises under my hood and was very happy Ron stopped and spent the time to test drive my car. I thought it was a water pump but it was something far less expensive. Super job of fixing my car and getting me on my way. I was treated with respect and given more attention than I have ever received from any other mechanic. This is a hidden gem in the lincoln area! Ron does all my auto maintenance after having a bad experience with another local shop that I had used for 10+ years. He is professional, knowledgeable and charges a fair price for the work needed. I feel confident that he will not recommend services that aren’t needed. Several of my friends also use him and I am very pleased with all my interactions and will recommend him to others.

Took my nissan titan for a diagnostic that no dealer could figure out the problem with my abs light being on. They did a really good job fixing the problem with a really cheap price. Highly recommended!

I was up visiting my Mom in Lincoln and realized I really needed an oil change and some new windshield wipers. I just looked up places on my iPad and was lucky enough to find A & R. I gave a call and they could take me that afternoon.
It turned out to be a very pleasant and painless experience. Ron was so friendly and helpful and professional. He also told me my wheels were out of alignment and were wearing wrong. I would not have noticed that.
Anyway, go there. I believe he was very honest and friendly to boot. I have decided when I go up to Lincoln I will save up car work and get it done there.

For the longest time, I have been looking for a good, HONEST, and reliable mechanic after having back-​to-​back bad experiences (where I had to take my car in multiple times and leave for days without fixing the problem) at service center where I purchased my car in Roseville.
Yesterday my car gave out on me and at 10 AM this morning I dropped off my car at A&R Auto Tech here in Lincoln after looking at different shops. I spoke to Ron (I think the owner) I told him what happened to my car. He said that he would diagnosed the car and would let me know what the problem was and how much it would cost to fix it. I also told him that I had a warranty with my car through the dealership that I purchased it (I would NOT take back to again for work). He said it wouldn’t be an issue.
He called me and told me what the problem was, how much it will cost and how long it would take him to fixed it.
He was very patient with my warranty company because they kept putting him in on hold for 30 minutes or more each time he called with no one picking up. I even called them and they could do anything for me!
He kept me up to date with everything what was happening.
By 4pm I had my car and driving off!
Ron and A&R Auto Tech worked quickly with fixing my car, handled ALL the paper work and compared to my original quote from dealership, I paid a fraction of the cost.
He seems like a down to earth honest guys and I like that. Highly recommend if your having car issues!

I have been looking for an automotive repair shop I can call my own since moving to Lincoln 10 years ago. I have been to various mechanics in Lincoln, Rocklin, and Roseville and still no place to call «home.» That is, until now! Ron is very experienced, personable, professional, and most importantly… HONEST! He brought me into his shop and SHOWED me, and then explained to me, what was happening with my vehicle. He is now «my mechanic,» which brings a lot of peace of mind to me. He ONLY CHARGES for the work he performs with no hidden costs or jacked up prices! For repair that does need to be done he is very competitive. He works on foreign and domestic vehicles alike. I can’t recommend him highly enough. I’m very happy to give my business to a local, honest man, who works hard and can be trusted when my vehicles need a check-​up or repair!

On friday my car broke down. With me being in a town I do not live in and all by myself, I called auto zone who referred me to A&R Auto. They were able yo direct me to their shop and find out what the problem was in a mattet of minutes. They quoted me a price that I could afford, and fixed it quickly.

But to be fair… They’ve been fixing my car for the past few years now and I have never really had any problems with their service. My car is running great and their price are pretty reasonable too. 4 thumbs up for this shop!!! :)
