We are two companies both family owned and operated here in Lincoln, Nebraska. We merged the companies A Better Way Construction and Roofing and May Contracting. Now we are one big happy family. Here to help with all your construction and roofing needs.

About Us

Growing up I was always interested in the construction field — my father had a successful construction company. I learned a lot from him at Wood Construction Inc.

A Better Way Construction was started in 1981. As the manager of A Better Way, I encouraged the company to expand more into the roofing field. In 2002 I purchased the company and changed the name to «A Better Way Construction and Roofing.»

May Contracting has been serving Lincoln for over 35 years. Rocky worked side by side with his brothers at an early age. He came from a family-​owned business also: Dennis May Contracting. Rocky is skilled in all phases of construction. If it can be built, he can build it!
