Big Vinny’s Take & Bake Pizza

I have to say this is MUCH better than Papa Murphy’s. But the pizza quality is mediocre at best. The crust has an almost stale flavor. Like maybe the dough is made and frozen, then thawed out or maybe it was made up in the morning and sat in the fridge all day, maybe the cardboard thing you cook it on transferes an odd flavor, or maybe the recipe just plain sucks. The sauce is okay and the toppings are fair. It just seams like a cheaply made pizza that’s really expensive. I ordered 2 «extra large» pizzas. a 1-​topping, a 3-​topping and a cookie and the bill was $ 33.75! OUCH!
I’m still a little lost on the take and bake concept. Yes, you take it home and eat it when you’re ready, I get that, but every time I order take and bake, it’s terrible. I can honestly say, IF I ever order take and bake again (and I won’t) I’ll stick to the crap Wal-​mart is selling. At least their cheap pizza is cheap.
