Brewsky’s Food & Spirits

Ate there last night and puked my brains out in the bathroom the hamburger was undercooked and cold meat was still raw inside fries were cold will diffently not come back almost got food poisoning.

This location is pretty poor for Brewsky’s quality of service. I rarely complain but had to say something with such poor food choices and deafening speakers. While it was a game day it was hours after the actual game and they were still serving an «event menu». Thats ok it had to have been busy. But for some of us who still want to enjoy a pub after a game and can’t eat or don’t want friend food and burgers there aren’t a lot of options. A piece of overcooked chicken and a side salad were my only options as a gluten free patron. Salads or gluten free buns for your burgers would have been much appreciated. Its pretty hard to want to come back after those options.
If that wasn’t bad enough the food we did order took forever and was super cold. We sent a couple things back with little to no apology from the staff.
I would also have to warn anyone who wants to walk away still hearing anything after they walk out the door. The speakers and blaring in this spot. I can handle loud and I rarely complain but this was loud!

The fish was almost inedible. It should have gone back. Drink size small. Service lacking, but adequate.
Plenty of high quality TVs. The Lions stink.

If I could give it a less than one star I would.
We sat ourselves at a table by the bar. We sat for ten minutes and finally a manager asked if we had been helped. We had nothing on our table so obviously not. He took our drink order and the waitress brought it over asking who had the beer. It took another ten minutes to order because our waitress was running around like crazy. We went during an event so they had a «special event» menu, which consisted of all bar food (nachos, burgers, sandwiches, etc.) when we asked if we could order something different (salads) the waitress said oh no, we only stock for this menu, which honestly I have never heard of before. We got our food by a different waitress and it was okay. We were hungry so we ate it, I was halfway through my dish and stopped eating because there was a hair in my food and the grease puddled on the bottom of the plate was unappealing. We had to ask for our waters to be filled, and the check. ANOTHER waitress ran our card and closed us out. Never have I ever tipped less than 20% but today was the first. I am upset that I wasted my money here and will never go back.

Came back to try the food again and play pool leagues. Did not sit at the bar to watch into the open kitchen this time. The wings were good. Some time since I was here last somebody in there infinite wisdom decided to put a boxing machine beside the pool tables where leagues are played. We had the privilege of several people punching the bag 4 feet from the pool tables with no respect for our match going on. They were appalled when we asked them to respect the fact that we were trying to play a match. The beer was good as usual.

I’m not a huge fan of Brewsky’s in general. I find their food to be pretty average and their prices to be a little high for what you get. Food sometimes comes out slow also. But, its not a «bad» place to eat. Food is pretty consistent and you will get a decent meal. It’s just there are better places in town. I wouldn’t tell you NOT to go here, I just doubt you would be impressed.

I may go back for a beer and a game, but I’ll skip the appetizers next time.

I’ve been to most of the Brewsky’s in town and this is probably the worst of them. The layout is very spacious and there are plenty of tv’s to keep an eye on. The service is not very good though. Recently, I and a friend walked in late on a Tuesday. It was not busy at all. We sat at a table for 5 minutes before someone come over. I guess our waitress was on a break and no one managed to come over to at least explain why she wasn’t out.
The food took a long time for being not busy. We only ordered burgers. When we got them, the waitress immediately noticed that the fries were old. She was correct. She brought a fresh order after a few minutes. My burger was missing it’s bacon though. She took that back and put bacon on it. The cheese on both our burgers was barely warm. I was hoping for some totally melted cheese. Luckily our waitress was good and willing to correct mistakes. She apologized for the long wait when we got there.
The food itself was okay. It probably tasted better because I was so hungry. I think the prices were slightly high for a burger.
I’ve been to this location probably 6 times. It’s really a generic sports bar atmosphere. I think the management is suspect. The food is average bar food. Don’t get the pulled pork as it tastes like it is store bought. The burgers are probably the thing to get. I also enjoy getting their Philly.

Waitress was very sweet and always checked on us but Im sorry folks the food was BLAH. I had the pulled pork sammich and it was tasteless. Maybe a burger would have been a better choice. Thank God for liquid meals aka beer.
