Business Owner
Dr. Walsh graduated from the Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana in May of 1992, and has practiced optometry full time since then. He is a 1981 graduate of Griffin High School in Springfield and graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1986 with a B.A. in Biology.
Dr. Walsh started his career working in an ophthalmology practice and later was the Shopko Vision Center doctor for Quincy, Illinois. He has had 9 years total of Walmart Vision Center experience before starting at the Lincoln, Illinois location. When not practicing in Lincoln, Dr. Walsh also sees patients at the Walmart Vision Center in Macomb, Illinois. He has also worked at Walmart Vision Center in Galesburg and the Walmart Vision Center on Dirksen Parkway in Springfield in recent years on a part-time basis.
