First of all, there’s a lot to love about Lotus. The downtown location is very convenient for those of us who work nearby. The studio space at the Pine Lake location is excellent. And the quality of teaching at both locations is generally high. One big downside for me has been the vibe of other yogis at the studios, however. I’ve gone to several evening classes at the downtown location, and it seems like there’s always someone knocking to come in 5 minutes late(and, occasionally, smelling like pot). It’s a small space and it’s hard to ignore that. In general, the clientele seems to be fairly young and not especially diverse, and sometimes it can feel a little cliqueish or even competitive in class. I’m still giving 4 stars because I appreciate that we have yoga in Lincoln and I want Lotus to succeed, but I wish the teachers and owners would do more to make yoga accessible for a broader range of students.

What an amazing vibe in this place!!! The timing of my business trip to Lincoln was impeccable. This studio JUST opened and what a treat it was to drop in for Kole’s class. After a long day of flights, and an hour drive from Omaha… My body was craving some yoga. You can find their schedule on the MindBody Connect app. The studio is also listed on Lululemon’s Om Finder app but classes are not linked to the app. This place was difficult to find to say the least– but boy was I happy when I found it. They are in an alley between 13th&14th– no signage(yet) to help you find it… But maybe they should be a little secret of downtown Lincoln. It was kind of a fun adventure trying to find it and when I did it was like I found gold at the end of a rainbow!
